Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I own very little on this list, and looking it over caused to me think, if I were more of a lipstick person, I’d be hot on lots of the colors you’ve highlighter in the A+ and A categories. The TF 20 from Too Faced and n° 72 by Guerlain are so hot! However, I never wear these colors, I just love looking at them. 😉 But the Giorgio Armani Luce gloss, 403 and 201 lipsticks are very desirable, as are Guerlain’s n°65 and 78, and I could see myself in those. Hmmmm…

NARS Free Soul is one of the few items on the list I’d consider getting, but then my Surratt Beauty Duchess is very close without the shimmer (it’s just that I know I’d REAlLY like the NARS formula better especially if the shimmer is not too Orgasm-like), so I’m going to have to see if it ever crosses my path and I may get it. 😉

Had I seen the list before my end of year purchase, Colour Pop would have gotten few more bucks out of me for Bumble Bee (I do like him in Transformers 😉 ) and I Like You. They’d work in the new color scheme I’m going to do more of this year (more yellows and oranges if I figure out how to work them for everyday looks without being too overwhelming on my lid).

Thanks for your hard work every year!!!!

Excellent list, and some perms can go on the WL for 19. Interesting to look at your brand breakdown. Glad you started to review indies/niche brands, like SG, Nabla, LH, CR. We are very fortunate in our vast choices. My inner voice said color/formula choices are first world problems. But they do make us happy.

This list is amazing Christine and it shows how hard you have worked this year to review so many diverse products.
One of the many interesting things about this list is that it shows exceptional beauty products from a wide range of brands at widely differing price points. I think that a lot of brands are really great at a couple of products and are average in others. It also shows that brands are capable of putting out a stellar product every now and again and that consistency is the hardest aspect to achieve.
The colour/shade range above is indicative of how popular colourful products are, whereas once upon a time it was just some neutral eyeshadows and pink lipsticks (or a red or two). The list also speaks to the diverse skintones and preferences for a variety of shades that would appeal/suit the customer.

Thank you so much Christine.

There’s a bunch of stuff on this list I meant to try last year and will have to go on the list for this year. Like the Armani, Colourpop, and Guerlain lipsticks. I’ve been dying to find a Guerlain lipstick shade I love, their packaging is definitely the pinnacle of luxury splurge for me.

My mind boggles over how you’ve reviewed so much over this past year. Thank you!

I have 8 of these. I love that so many brights were high quality this year. I’d never have thought I’d see a bright yellow eyeshadow on a highest rating of the year list. Good on MUFE.

Too Faced Ruby Ripe and Colour Pop Paradiso are on my wish list.
