Bronze (03)

Natasha Denona Bronze (03) Super Glow Highlighter ($38.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a bright, sunshine yellow gold with warm undertones and a shiny, metallic finish. It was intensely pigmented–a little went a long way–with an equally intense shine. This particularly shade stood out from some of the more typical gold highlighters we see because it had a much stronger, deeper yellow tone to it. The powder had a smooth, dense consistency that was slightly creamy but still felt and performed like a powder highlighter. I had no trouble picking up the product on a brush and applying it to my skin. It blended out easily along the edges and stayed on well for nine hours on me.

Formula Overview

$38.00/0.35 oz. - $108.57 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to be a "super-soft powder" that "mimics skin's natural texture for a slick, seamless finish that won't settle in fine lines" while creating a "multidimensional glow" and "glass-like sheen." The powder has a denser consistency with slight slip and creaminess, but it definitely feels like a powder.

The three shades available had semi-opaque to opaque coverage in a single layer with a strong, metallic sheen and a lot of shine--more reflective and shiny than shimmer in texture, but it was a mega-watt kind of glow. It worked well with standard, tapered highlighting brushes without having to use a light or heavy hand with it. The highlighters applied evenly, blended out easily, and lasted for eight to nine hours on me.

Hi Mariella,

Under “Formula Overview,” I mentioned that there are three shades ๐Ÿ™‚ Similarly, you can always browse by formula and see any and all shades for it! (Also under “Formula Overview,” at the end, you’ll see “Browse all of our Natasha Denona Super Glow Highlighter swatches” with a link.)

This shade is quite beautiful on you. I usually don’t like yellow gold shades but I may swatch in store because it seems different that what’s on the market.

Does Natasha know what colour Bronze actually is?

Because this is gorgeous and unusual and looks deliciously buttery, but it is not bronze by any stretch of the imagination. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Just a friendly warning: DON’T order these online at Sephora. My first order arrived with Bronze and Fair (my two picks) totally crushed and broken with not enough protection. I called for a replacement. The next two arrived the same. Luckily Beautylish got the colors back in and I got them safely from there as BL packages so much more carefully.

This is so beautiful and I love the other 2 shades which I purchased. It seems to work on your skin tone without being to dark to use as a highlighter. I think it could work for me as a highlighter without being too dark especially since I’m pretty tan right now.

Hi Christine, I love yellow gold! Do you think this would work on light skin tones? Itโ€™s not avalaible to swatch anywhere in Australia, but Iโ€™m sooo tempted to order it online
