Clove
Bite Beauty Clove Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a rich, deep brown with warm, red undertones and a glossy finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation, which did not build up to full coverage with additional product. The consistency was thinner and a bit more watery compared to most shades in the range, though it still applied surprisingly evenly and didn’t settle heavily into my lip lines. The color stayed on well for almost six hours and was hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$24.00/0.25 oz. - $96.00 Per Ounce
The Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick is supposed to be "moisture-rich, high-pigment" in a "liquified" consistency that has a "creamy, comfortable application." It's a lightweight, fluid consistency that was neither runny nor thick on the lips. It does not dry down and feels mostly like a liquid-form of a lipstick (and not so much like a gloss). The majority of the range was incredibly pigmented and spread evenly across the lips. Some shades had a bit of color that sat in my lip lines, which was noticeable from a normal viewing distance with a few but not all. It had a lightly tacky feel on the lips, which helped to adhere as none of the shades I have tested have feathered on me. The formula was lightly hydrating, wore for four to seven hours, and had a light, herbal, lemony scent but no discernible taste.
If you've been following Bite for awhile, you might remember the Cashmere Lip Creams from a few years ago, which were also a liquid formula. Unfortunately, I had a couple leak on me and ended up tossing all of them out of fear, so I couldn't do a true comparison, but from my memory, it was slightly thicker and less tacky while both had a more natural shine after initial application.

Daikon
Bite Beauty Daikon Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a light-medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a cream finish. The color payoff was nearly opaque in one layer, but between the milkier color and creamy texture, it sat in my lip lines a bit more than other shades in the formula have for me. The consistency was smooth, fluid without being too heavy or too watery, and easy to work with along the edges of my lips. It wore well for five hours and was moisturizing while worn.

Jicama
Bite Beauty Jicama Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a muted, medium plum with strong, warm undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. The pigmentation was fantastic with opaque coverage that went on evenly and smoothly across my lips. The texture was lightweight, creamy without being heavy (but still thin enough to spread well), and comfortable to wear. It lasted for five and a half hours and was hydrating to me.

Jicama is beautiful!
Oooh Jicama!
OMG – Isn’t Clove just divine? What a glorious shade!
Come to me Jicama, lol
I’m glad to see Jicama do well, and really glad to see that Clove did too. They were a couple of the ones I was keeping an eye out on.
Ooooo Jicama is so pretty! I really like this formula, glad to see some nice new shades!
Must say, the first two shades aren’t calling to me. Have PMG Strangé, which is far superior to Clove. Daikon would look thoroughly horrid on me, as in the undead type of look.
Jicama, on the other hand, looks to have a thicker consistency to it. Probably less likely to drift into the corners of my mouth? Or so I would hope. It is definitely my type of shade, too!
Daikon and Jicama are beautiful shades!
I have a silly question? When you post a review of best products for the week. How do you compare them is it through sales or through another source. Thanks
They’re based on my ratings for everything I’ve reviewed that week (shown on the list). I don’t sell anything…
