ColourPop Paradiso, Sleeper, Earthshine, Solstice with the Mostest Pressed Powder Shadows Reviews & Swatches
Sleeper
ColourPop Sleeper Pressed Pigment ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a deep berry with cool undertones and a matte finish. It had good color coverage, which was buildable to opaque coverage with less than half of a layer. The texture was surprisingly smooth–there was a smidgen of dryness present but wasn’t grainy at all, as some of the red/berry shades can be. It applied evenly to bare skin and blended out quite nicely. This shade lasted well for eight and a half hours on me before fading noticeably. (Note, this shade is a Pressed Pigment, which effectively means it is “not safe” for the immediate eye area per the brand.)

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing." The way the Pressed Pigments differ is that they're not intended for usage on the immediate eye area.
The majority of the shades are semi-opaque to opaque in coverage, blend out fairly well, and can sometimes be a bit drier/more powdery compared to typical matte shades. They often wear eight to nine hours on me before fading, but many shades in the Pressed Pigment family leave some staining behind.

Solstice with the Mostest
ColourPop Solstice with the Mostest Pressed Pigment ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a bright fuchsia with cool, blue undertones and a sparkling, metallic sheen. It had opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin with smooth coverage. The consistency was sparkly, so it wasn’t quite as smooth as shades with finer shimmer, but it seemed soft, yielding, and was blendable on my skin. I had no trouble applying it with a dry brush, though there was a touch of fallout during application if I did so. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before fading a bit. (Note, this shade is a Pressed Pigment, which effectively means it is “not safe” for the immediate eye area per the brand.)

Paradiso
ColourPop Paradiso Pressed Powder Shadow ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark berry with subtle, cool undertones and a pearly sheen. It had fantastic, opaque pigmentation that adhered well to bare skin with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was dense without being stiff. This shade stayed on nicely for nine hours on me before fading slightly.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Earthshine
ColourPop Earthshine Pressed Powder Shadow ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a bright, pinky-lavender with warmer, orange undertones and blue-to-lavender shifting shimmer paired with a more metallic finish. It had opaque pigmentation with a soft, lightly creamy texture that felt a touch looser but not enough that it was too powdery or had issues with fallout during application. If you want to bring out the duochrome shift, I’d recommend using it with a dampened brush. On me, it lasted well for eight hours before fading slightly.

Gorgeous pink/purple shades and you can’t get better than Paradiso.
I’ve always been seriously bummed that I wasn’t able to get MAC Hepcat….until today. Paradiso appears to be a firm dupe! It shall now join several other shades in my CP cart.
I also really love the looks of Earthshine, as well!
And about 10x better, even just going off of memory of Hepcat.
Nancy, I got Paradiso, Earthshine and Mr (Enter) Sandman 😉 today (along with about a dozen others) and I can affirm that they are absolutely gorgeous!
I hope your health issues are resolving too! 🙂
Gorgeous and excellent quality. Thanks!
I don’t need any more shadows. I don’t need any more shadows. I don’t need any more shadows.
I’m completely gonna buy these.
I am still amazed that Colourpop can produce such high quality product, including unique and innovative shades at a fraction of the price point than nearly any other brand (cough, MAC, cough!)…
I would also like to point out that these are actually $4 if you purchase the pan format, they are only $5 if you get the individual compact included.
Their new Build Your Own Palette feature is pretty neat too 😀
In the abstract, these are lovely but most are colours I just would never wear on my eyes (there goes my broken record again!)
These are all gorgeous shades and are going on my wish list. Paradiso is stunning!
Are these permanent to the line?
It says “permanent” by in shade’s Glossover! 🙂
What does immediate eye area mean?
You can only use it in the grease?
That is the area around the eye.
