Cinnamon

Colour Pop Cinnamon Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium brown with strong, warm yellower undertones and a cream finish. The lipstick was richly pigmented with a smooth, creamy texture that glided easily across my lips and yielded even coverage in one stroke. It wore nicely for five hours on me and felt lightly moisturizing while worn.

Formula Overview

$7.00/0.12 oz. - $58.33 Per Ounce

The formula that is supposed to be a "creamy-matte" that "glides on like butter, doesn't feather or bleed, and lasts so long you'll forget you're even wearing it." The majority of the shades were quite pigmented with full color payoff in a single stroke with a few in the more semi-opaque coverage range.

The texture was, on average, smooth, lightly creamy, and not too thick or too thin, so there was no tugging during application but the color didn't feel slippery while worn, which made them easier to apply straight from the tube and low-maintenance on the lips.

They tend to dry and wear down to a soft matte finish within one to three hours of wear, and while they are very lightweight on, they hug the lips more as they become more matte (compared to initial feel). The wear time has been between four and six hours for most shades, and most shades were non-drying to lightly hydrating. They were vanilla-scented but had no discernible taste.

Chocolatier

Colour Pop Chocolatier Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a rich, deep brown with warm, red undertones and cream finish. The pigmentation was opaque in a single stroke, which adhered evenly and smoothly across my lips. It had a lightly creamy consistency that applied without tugging or dragging on my lips, and it sat well on my lips without emphasizing my lip lines. The color stayed on well for six hours and was lightly hydrating on me.

Cinnamon is too yellow for me and Chocolatier is too dark for me, but both are very lovely shades, and the names are making my mouth water. ๐Ÿ˜›

These are gorgeous. Enjoy them, Gen. Iโ€™ve got dupes, but they kind of arenโ€™t that dupe-y on me. Divine Brown has no red u/ts on me and Aya, no surprise to me, is purple. I wish I understood what ingredient makes l/s pull purple on me, but it will probably forever be a mystery. Suppose itโ€™s a good thing I like purple, but it gets disappointing.

Chocolatier is a beauty for this time of year going into winter, dang! I’ve got a thing for these very dark mysterious looking shades. And I am a chocolate addict, on top of it all, ๐Ÿ˜‚

I love the color of Cinnamon! (I am really digging the 90โ€™s style browns!) But I really hate the feel of lipstickโ€”can you think of a very similar gloss?

These lipsticks are stunning and as soon as I saw them, I knew they would be good ones. It’s great to see that Colour Pop’s lipsticks rate as well, if not better than PMG, Nars and Tom Ford.
Can’t wait for mine to arrive.
They look stunning on you Christine and your eye look is beautiful.
