Clinique Get Cheeky Cheek Pop Palette Review & Swatches
Get Cheeky
Clinique Get Cheeky Cheek Pop Palette ($29.50 for 0.36 oz.) is a new, limited edition trio of blushes for the holiday season. The palette contains three full-sized Cheek Pops (which retail for $24.00 each), which gives the palette a total value of $72. All three shades are part of the permanent range, and thankfully, they performed very similarly to the permanent counterparts that I have (as singles). The downside is that the palette packaging seemed very thin, and the “hinge” of the palette is secured solely by the sticker/label that surrounds the plastic lid and base; I was able to rip off the lid by attempting to do so for about 15-20 seconds. If you like more satin-to-natural finishes in your blush, enjoy warmer-toned blushes, and don’t mind the utterly flimsy packaging, it’s a great way to try one of my favorite blush formulas!

LELimited Edition. $29.50.
Pink Honey Pop
Pink Honey Pop is a soft, medium pink with warm undertones and a natural finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage that adhered evenly and smoothly to bare skin but was easy to diffuse for lighter coverage or blend only the edges out for higher coverage. The finish was luminous–glowing but not overly shimmery–and sat well on my skin. The consistency was denser, firmer to the touch but incredibly smooth and absolutely lived up to its claim of being “virtually powderless” as it looked like a cream blush on. I would recommend using a moderately dense blush brush to pick up product; very feathery brushes may not pick up product as well due to the firmer texture (but not to be confused with stiff!). This shade lasted well for nine hours on me before I noticed any fading.

Formula Overview
$21.00/0.12 oz. - $175.00 Per Ounce
The formula is described as “vibrant yet natural-looking cheek colour that looks virtually powderless.” The texture was smooth, soft, and dense, so it was never powdery in the pan or on the skin. The blush had good color payoff that was easily sheered out (or you could apply less, as the denser texture makes that easy to control).
It’s the kind of texture that almost blends itself as soon as you start applying and working it onto the skin. The finish became more luminous as I blended the powder onto the skin, but it was never shiny or overly shimmery, so it always looked smooth on my skin and did not emphasize pores or my skin’s texture. Most shades lasted between eight and nine hours on me.

PPermanent. $21.00.
Black Honey Pop
Black Honey Pop is a medium-dark, rosy pink with warmer undertones and a luminous sheen. It had opaque pigmentation with a smooth, dense consistency that felt lightly creamy but was firmer in the pan. The formula responds best to denser brushes, but it’s a very lightweight, silky powder on the skin once applied. It has a very glowing finish that’s natural without being overtly shimmery, so there’s no fear of emphasizing skin texture when applied at higher coverage levels. The blush blended out easily and stayed on well for nine and a half hours on me before fading a bit.

Black Honey Pop
PPermanent. $21.00.
Nude Pop
Nude Pop is a light-medium peach with warm undertones and a soft, pearly sheen. It had good pigmentation in a single layer, which was easy to diffuse and sheer out as well as build up with half of a layer more for full coverage. The consistency was smooth, velvety, and lightly creamy but a denser, firmer type of powder. The blush applied evenly and smoothly to my skin, and it was a cinch to diffuse the edges for a seamless blend. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before it started to fade a touch.

Oh good, I was hoping you’d review this! I just bought one, glad it was reviewed well.
Agreed that these are great. Little to no kick up, blend like a dream. Great selection of shades: wearable and pretty universal, though they might be too light for deeper skintones. I think this is the product that put Clinique back on the radar, after many years. Shades are often available at CCO, where I scored two of these. These are good candidates for heavy rotation.
That settles it, I’m buying it! The price is amazing, the formula is great, and the colors are cute. I have Nude Pop as a single but not the other two, and I remember my mom saying she liked the way Nude Pop looked and was interested in it so I can give her my single! I love it when everything in a palette comes together like this, especially for a holiday release which I think are notoriously hit or miss across lots of brands.
I totally want this! I can easily use every shade. But I have to stop myself because I have way too many blushes already. It’s really nice, though.
This I am really interested in. It’s a great value and I’ve been wanting to try their blushes for some time now. This is definitely on my wish list.
Gee, wouldn’t it be nice if Hourglass took a leaf out of Clinique’s book and actually gave people MORE value in a holiday palette, rather than committing daylight robbery?
Yuh-huh! Think I saw a second 6 pan HG holiday offering on Trendmood yesterday. They have become notorious for the issue you mentioned. Not to mention the poor value on the too-slim line lipsticks. But anyone who thinks this Clinique blush palette may be a go, really ought to get it. Good value as well as good product.
I agree completely. Kudos to Clinique, shame on Hourglass.
What a great value, and I love that they are full sized blushes. I’ve swatched this shades a couple of times and stores and considered getting them, so this is a perfect way to try them out without spending too much!
Which brush did you use with these? The blushes look so hard in the pictures and they are so pretty I want to get them. I already ruined 2 Nars blushes because my brush was too soft. Can you recommend some good stiff ones? I’m looking at Bobbi Brown blush brush or maybe a Smith blush brush? T
Please see this post for moderate and heavy application: https://www.temptalia.com/best-makeup-brushes-for-blushes-bronzers/
I don’t use Bobbi Brown brushes!
Very helpful, thank you!
I’m in. Thanks for the quick review.
Already went to Sephora looking for this, only to find local one doesn’t stock Clinique any more, so it’s great to know it’s available in multiple places.
I haven’t seen anywhere else yet but Sephora didn’t mark it as “exclusive”!
Even though I believe that only Pink Honey and Black Honey would ever show up on me, I may still buy it. Not sure what I would do with Nude Pop, though? Too light to be a blush on me, but too flat to be a highlight, either.
Eye shadow?
That’s actually a good idea, Alecto! Especially for when I do a pin-up eye, this could be a perfect mobile lid shade. Just enough color to create a smooth, soft lid for the dramatic crease and liner. Thanks!
Do you think the pans could be removed and put into a Z Pallete?
I believe this type of product is baked on a plate vs. a pan.
Claire, I did try to depot a single blush and it did not go well. It is super soft and in fact baked on what seems to be a plastic mesh.
Good to know, thank you!
I so hope I will find a way to get my hand on this palette! European retailers don’t have the singles ?
I got this about a week and a half ago and have been using it non-stop since. Love it. It’s very subtle, but lovely. I have medium light skin tone, and don’t know how well it would work for anyone darker. Although, I am applying it with a lighter, dual-fiber brush, so I could see how it might pack more of a punch with a stiffer brush.
It sounds like they cheaped out on the packaging, but as long as the blushes are good. I was wondering whether the blushes were full-sized. They are, so still a great deal.
Okay. I need this with that grade
This is a REALLY nice deal for anyone who needs three blushes. I am trying to reduce my blush collection and I already own one of these so I won’t be buying it, but I love this formula and I am impressed with what a good deal it is from Clinique.
I really like the shades chosen for this trio and it would be quite workable for me. Shame about the average packaging though.
Strange that they [slightly] undersold the value of the palette, given that the opposite tends to happen. Maybe they docked some points for the packaging :p
I was wondering if the price increased on the singles recently? Maybe it was that when they printed the packaging? I don’t recall, though!
Odd packaging choice, but the opportunity to own 3 great quality blushes that I’ve always wanted at a great price … Yeah.
Hi Christine! Do you know when this is available? I followed multiple of the links, and tried searching the individual websites, but have had no luck turning up this product. Thanks!
It looks like it’s sold out – Sephora and Clinique both had it but they’re gone. JCPenney @ Sephora lists it as out of stock. It wasn’t listed as a Sephora exclusive, so it may release at other retailers soon but I don’t have any official press release from Clinique.
Thank you for looking into that! You truly are the hardest working beauty blogger in the industry. I appreciate it! Will keep an eye out for restocks.
My pleasure, Shari! Hope it’ll be available again. <3
So I think I’m going crazy because I can’t find this anywhere!!

It’s already sold out online but I was lucky to find this palette at my local JCP today …. try calling your local jcp… I called 5 JCP /Sephora stores that are near me to check if they have it before I go and only one store still had those in stock but few. Also that store is the farthest from all the stores I called but only by 30 mins difference. You might never know if your local JCP/Sephora still have it or not so I suggest you calling if you still want to get this.
