Arrowroot
Bite Beauty Arrowroot Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a medium copper with warm, orange undertones and a creamy finish. The consistency was smooth, fluid without being runny, and easy to work with for even, opaque color payoff. It was comfortable to wear and took three to four hours to wear down to a more satin finish. This shade stayed on well for almost six hours and was hydrating over time.

The Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick is supposed to be "moisture-rich, high-pigment" in a "liquified" consistency that has a "creamy, comfortable application." It's a lightweight, fluid consistency that was neither runny nor thick on the lips. It does not dry down and feels mostly like a liquid-form of a lipstick (and not so much like a gloss). The majority of the range was incredibly pigmented and spread evenly across the lips. Some shades had a bit of color that sat in my lip lines, which was noticeable from a normal viewing distance with a few but not all. It had a lightly tacky feel on the lips, which helped to adhere as none of the shades I have tested have feathered on me. The formula was lightly hydrating, wore for four to seven hours, and had a light, herbal, lemony scent but no discernible taste.
If you've been following Bite for awhile, you might remember the Cashmere Lip Creams from a few years ago, which were also a liquid formula. Unfortunately, I had a couple leak on me and ended up tossing all of them out of fear, so I couldn't do a true comparison, but from my memory, it was slightly thicker and less tacky while both had a more natural shine after initial application.

Cassava
Bite Beauty Cassava Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a deep, reddish plum with subtle, cool undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer, and the fluid, smooth consistency applied the product evenly with little work. The texture was comfortable to wear and smoothed out my lip lines instead of filling them. It wore beautifully for over six hours and was moisturizing while worn.

Bite Beauty Chicory Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a medium, rosy brown with warm undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. The liquid lipstick had a smooth, creamy, and fluid consistency–not too thin or too thick–that was spreadable across my lips for even and opaque color payoff in one layer. Love Arrowroot and Chicory! Cassava is my idea of a perfect looking plum lipstick. And it looks fabulous on you!
My only issue with this formula is that the one shade I have, Mauvember, drifted into the corners of my mouth all Joker. Worse? My friends didn’t tell me! ? Lesson learned; I have to wear a dry, longlasting lip liner like the ones by Nyx or MAC and only apply these on the middle 2/3 of my lips. If anyone has any other helpful advice on how to prevent these “drifting”, please let me know!
All three shades are lovely, but I think Chicory and Cassava will be the most popular.
Can I just want all of these? Especially Arrowroot?
Chicory looks beautiful on you! I might have to give it a try even though my skin tone usually does not like this color on me ?☺️ It seems unique… Did you find that some of these shades were unique Christine?
Thank you
These all look fantastic on you!! Especially cassava and arrowroot!! ?♥️?
Not sure I drop dead love this formula as much as prior bites, but only have the xmas set. The sweet taste…also in their d/c’d lush lip tint is a turn off. The little, inconsistent hits of sweet are disconcerting. But might have to overcome that for Arrowroot. There are so many great off-oranges now, that it’s quite exciting. This range is unique, atypical for season, which I adore.
These are all so beautiful!!!! I think I may need to get arrowroot!!! It’s fairly unique! They all look so pretty on your Christine!
These are all really pretty. I love bite beauty!
I’m glad these performed well! I now have Arrowroot on my list, and maybe Cassava.
Chicory is a lot more brown on me, but still lovely. I’ve been testing it out for the last week and my favourite way to wear it is sheered out with some lip balm (BITE lavender agave lip mask).
I love how Chicory looks on you! So pretty!
I think Cassava is different enough from Infuse for me to justify the purchase.
Arrowroot and Chicory are both going on my list for the next Sephora sale… loving this formula and the new shades!
