The Top 100 Beauty Products, Q1 2018

There are so many products that release each month (maybe even every week!) that it can be hard to keep track of them all, and even great products can get lost in the mix. During the last three months, I’ve reviewed just over 1,000 individual shades across 38 brands.

Some of my personal favorites:

Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Due to this list of the Top 100 for the first quarter, I went back and re-read the review of PMG Decadence Palette. Thank goodness I did, too. I had totally missed that one key detail the first time I read it; the sweet smell not being entirely due to a TF Palette sitting next to it. Turns out that 2 shades show the EVIL sodium saccharin in them: Gold Standard and Sterling. So now I’m left debating whether I will actually get it or not. I almost never use silver eyeshadow anyway, but that gold I sure would! Mind you, I would never wear it 4 days straight like I did when I bought TF Chocolate Bar. Problem is that from what I’ve read, sulfa allergies can get worse with each subsequent exposure. I just don’t know. Feeling pretty deflated ?

What an incredible array of products you have reviewed Christine – you do work so hard for us and we appreciate it so much.
I have loved all the beautiful Colour Pop and Sephora lipsticks in my favourite shades – especially Liquid Courage and Friends.
And who can forget that sterling Pat McGrath Decadence palette? So gorgeous.
