Too Faced Diamond Fire Diamond Light Multi-Use Highlighter Review, Photos, Swatches
Too Faced Diamond Fire Diamond Light Multi-Use Highlighter ($34.00 for 0.42 oz.) is a bright, iridescent white with a luminous sheen sheen. It shifted between cooler blue and cooler violet and had a slightly buildable luminosity–one or two layers was subtle, more pearlescent in finish, and two to three layers yielded a more metallic, shinier finish. The consistency was smooth to the touch, but it was a denser firm, which meant no excess product kicked up when used with a brush but I was still able to pickup product with my brush easily. The powder was finely-milled, flattering on the skin as it did not emphasize my skin’s natural texture, and blendable. It had opaque color coverage that lasted for nine hours on me.

I wonder if this will be the collection that turns it around for them. Might pick this up next VIB or Macy’s Beauty sale. Looks lovely on you Christine!
We can only hope!!
I really wasn’t expecting this to be any good at all but it’s BEAUTIFUL.
It was really well-done!
Well, I’m glad this one performs! The last two launches for highlighter product from this brand was not nice at all.
Me too!! 😀
Hmm… this product is not nearly as pretty as the promo pic. I know it’s because they’re all unique but this one just isn’t even close. I got their last set of highlighters (the gorgeous gem heart shapes) and they were super disappointing. I should have returned them I hated them so much. I’ll probably pass on this one but it looks fun.
Sorry about that, Rachael! I bought online so I didn’t check.
Aw, no worries Christine! It’s just part of their process for making them each unique. Sounds like it could just be from the shimmer reflecting during your photo.
I saw a display of this in Ulta, and the marbling is very obvious. I think the angle this pic was taken at means we see the shimmer more than the color. I tried to swatch it, but it had already been swatched by finger so many times that a skin had formed from oils. It really did look very special (aesthetically).
Sounds like I need to see it in person. Thanks
Oh hey, a good product by Too Faced! It actually looks beautiful, and if it was priced a little lower, I would grab it.
It’s a nice one!
Oh wow, I wasn’t interested at all in this but swatches look really cute. And an A! It’s amazing how often Too Faced fluctuates between the highest and the lowest grade…
LOL! I guess it’s a nice surprise…
I honestly don’t expect much of Too Faced these days, but I may have to pick this up! The packaging is adorable, and I’m stoked to know that what is inside is great, too! It really loves heavenly on you.
Looks* I meant to say!
Thank you, Jessica! 🙂
I am rarely interested by Too Faced releases but this one… ?
Glad ya liked it!
It looks so stunning on the skin! I’m disappointed that the marbling effect isn’t as prominent as the pics online but I feel like I should know better by now lmao. BUT I still want it because of how beautiful it looks on you. It just POPS!
They probably went through a dozen to find the right look for the promo shots, lol!
I think it may be the lighting and/or angle. If I tilt mine, I see more of the marbling effect than if I look at it straight on.
I bought this on a whim, and I am not disappointed! There’s no shimmer/glitter, just a dewy glow, and it melds right into the skin.
I’m glad they released something good, but I’m more attracted to drugstore dupes for this one.
Easier on the wallet!
I grabbed this as one of my post-holidays hauls and yes, those hauls are still going on :/ I was not disappointed with this purchase. It is really unique and is really goes on nice since . It doesn’t appear in any unnatural colors like blue or green even though they’re in there!
So glad you’re enjoying it, Anne! 🙂
The packaging and highlighter both are really beautiful.
I was really curious about this one, and I’m pleasantly surprised that it looks so pretty and got a great review. NYX Twilight looks like a decent and much cheaper dupe, even at half the product amount of this one, but I’ll probably pick one up when it goes on sale. I really like that it’s buildable, since I don’t need my highlighter to be seen from outerspace 😉
Where in the world do you find Parure Gold nowadays?! It’s my favorite ever and I thought it is discontinued!
It is – I just have a lot of bottles left after Guerlain sent me backups!
Nice to see Too Faced put out a great product. Hopefully the white peach palette will review as well.
Well, I’m arriving a little late for this one! But, better late than never for this stunner of a highlighter. This has a very noticeable shift on your arm swatch where your arm is tilted. Not too sure how this could or would work on my complexion, but I will check it out!
