Chanel Mare-Chiaro & Nero Volucanico Stylo Yeux Eyeliners Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Mare-Chiaro (938)
Chanel Mare-Chiaro (938) Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner ($33.00 for 0.01 oz.) is a vibrant, medium green with subtle, warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had good pigmentation in a single stroke, and it was buildable to full coverage with a second layer, though I didn’t feel like I had to go back and forth when I applied in short, slightly overlapping strokes on my lower lash line. The pencilw as smooth, creamy without being too wet or thick, and comfortable to use on the lash lines. It wore well for nine and a half hours on my waterline and was still going strong after 12 hours on my lower lash line.

Formula Overview
$34.00/0.01 oz. - $3400.00 Per Ounce
The Stylo Yeux formula is supposed to be a “waterproof, smudge-proof” eyeliner with a “gentle, soft” texture. I gave up on this formula bit ago, as the majority of shades I had tried had a really firm, stiff, and painful-to-use texture, but new releases have much improved!
They are much, much creamier without being too wet, so they didn’t transfer or migrate easily. The formula was easy (and not painful!) to use even on my waterline. The eyeliners lasted nine hours or more on me.

Nero Vulcanico (939)
Chanel Nero Vulcanico (939) Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner ($33.00 for 0.01 oz.) is a deep gray with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. It was almost like a lighter, cooler black. The consistency was smooth, creamy, and comfortable to apply, even on the waterline. It had nearly opaque coverage in a single layer, and it never skipped or dragged, so it easily went to opaque coverage with less than second pass. It wore well for 10 hours on my waterline and was still fully intact after 12 hours on my lower lash line.

Oooh, I love Chanel Stylos! And too great colors here! A pastel spring green and a soft gray black
These eyeliners look really good – very creamy and easy to apply. I like the green shade, but I think Marc Jacobs Peridot is that bit more of an interesting colour.
Both of these are beautiful. I really like the Chanel Stylo formula and they wear really well. I only have two so I might be able to justify picking up at least one of these! I like the green!
To my great dismay, I’ve come to realize that some green eyeliners actually make me look tired and this one looks like just that sort of shade. Nero Vulcanico looked really interesting in the big swatch – almost like it has a peacocky/metallic sheen to it but then looking at the line swatch and the dupes, I realize it’s not as “special” as I thought. For $33, (or more like $35 or 40 here), it’s got to be a bit more special than that.
I miss Jade. A cooler green.
Both look fantastic and well-pigmented! And either one are easier to dupe than not. Mare-Chiaro looks like a gorgeous green eye liner I have from Nyx called Esmeralda. I really ought to use it more often!
These are really beautiful colors!I love Mare-Chiaro such a pretty green shade.
Mare-Chiaro is so pretty!
I must have missed this one! Nero Vulcanico is quite nice. UG, why you gotta tempt me, Chanel?!?!
