Pat McGrath Peep Show, Modern Woman, Candy Flip MatteTrance Lipsticks Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Peep Show
Pat McGrath Peep Show MatteTrance Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a soft, peachy-coral with warm undertones and a satin finish. The color payoff was nearly opaque in a single stroke, and it was buildable to full coverage with a second layer (as needed). The texture was lightweight, creamy and velvety without being heavy or overly slippery on the lips, but the product pulled away at my lip lines and appeared a little “cracked” when I smiled. After five minutes, the product seemed to sit a bit better on my lips, but for the price, one probably wants perfection. It wore well for five hours and was non-drying in feel.

Formula Overview
$38.00/0.14 oz. - $271.43 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be “richly pigmented” with “”supreme hydration” and “opulent matte opacity.” The consistency was smooth, velvety, and dense without being too firm for one-stroke, glide-on application (I found the original shades to be slightly firmer compared to more newly released shades). They had nearly opaque to opaque coverage in one layer and most were buildable.
They had a subtle sheen--more satin-to-cream in finish--that wore down to a natural matte finish within an hour or two of wear. The formula lasted between four and eight hours on me, and while most weren't drying, they aren't "supreme[ly" hydrating either. They are, however, comfortable to wear over a longer period of time and reapply well. There was no discernible scent or taste to the formula.

Modern Woman
Pat McGrath Modern Woman MatteTrance Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a muted, medium mauve with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. The pigmentation was opaque as described, while the consistencyw as smooth, velvety, and creamy enough to glide on with ease. The color went on evenly and adhered nicely to the lips, but there was a smidgen of color that gathered in my deeper lip lines but wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance. It stayed on well for almost six hours and was just a touch hydrating.

Candy Flip
Pat McGrath Candy Flip MatteTrance Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark pink-coral with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. The lipstick felt smooth and velvety as it glided across my lips without tugging or pulling on them. It delivered rich color coverage in a single pass that was easy to maneuver along the edges. There was very slight color that sat in my deeper lip lines, though it wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance to my eyes. It wore well for seven hours and was neither drying nor hydrating over time.

Peepshow is a lovely coke but it looks so dry
Candy Flip looks *perfect* for a bright hot pink-coral that isn’t neon or cray looking, if you know what I mean! I’m loving that one! ?
Modern Woman is also a beauty, and likely far more practical of a shade because it would get significant usage.
Candy flip and modern woman are so pretty!! Ugh!!! Why?!!
This shade caught my eye but your bird earrings really are beautiful!
I love Candy Flip – what a fun color and looks so great on you.
Oh modern woman is nice.
I love all 3?
