Happy National Lipstick Day 2018! Here is an updated list of the best lipsticks I’ve tried and tested that are currently available for under $15. It’s no surprise to find that the top 50 is dominated by brands like ColourPop, Maybelline, and Sephora, which are brands that know how to do lipstick! For really long-wearing color that’s pigmented but not nearly as drying as typical liquid lipstick, I reach for ColourPop’s Ultra Satin formula. For comfy mattes, Maybelline Matte ranges are fantastic. For a mix of finishes, colors, and depths, Sephora’s #LipStories range has you covered. L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Shine Lipsticks are perfect for anyone who wants shinier, glossier finishes without sacrificing pigment.

This is a great list! I have seven of these shades. I also love Colourpop Ultra Satins in Molly and London Fog.
Unfortunately, my Colourpop liquid lipsticks have taken on a weird smell, so I have to get rid of them. I bought them about a year ago. Some were only used once or twice. Throwing away lipstick is so sad.
Oh no!! I haven’t noticed any of mine go off, but it’s not like I am revisiting too often, lol.

These are great lipsticks for under $15 and it’s really sad that most of those are still not available here in Aus. Maybelline, Nyx and Sephora just send a fraction of their products our way and I still have to get these off ebay.
Some of my cheaper lipstick favourites include the Milani Colour Statement range in Tuscan Toast, Candied Toffee, Bronze Beauty and Cinnamon Spice.
What are some of the best brands for more affordable lip color in Australia, Genevieve?
And… I’ve wound up with 10 of these, too! Love 9, but CP Marshmallow looks something ghastly against my NC37 skin, though. On both the over $15 and under $15, I still have far too many on my WL!

I don’t own any Sephora lipstories (and still manage to own 20 on this list ?), but I got Desert Trip for my mom, and she loves it.. will have to check them out!
Well-worth checking out as long as you don’t mind the cardboard packaging. The formula is great!
