ColourPop Ghosted, On Repeat, Get a Room Lux Lipstick Review, Photos, Swatches
Ghosted
ColourPop Ghosted Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium plum with warm undertones and a cream finish. It was richly pigmented and had a smooth, creamy consistency that was lightweight and thin without feeling clingy. The color applied evenly and did not tug during application. This shade wore well for four and a half hours, and it felt just a touch hydrating overall. It did not seem to mattify as much (or as quickly) compared to the other two shades in this review over time, which made it more comfortable to wear.

Formula Overview
$10.00/0.12 oz. - $83.33 Per Ounce
The formula that is supposed to be a "creamy-matte" that "glides on like butter, doesn't feather or bleed, and lasts so long you'll forget you're even wearing it." The majority of the shades were quite pigmented with full color payoff in a single stroke with a few in the more semi-opaque coverage range.
The texture was, on average, smooth, lightly creamy, and not too thick or too thin, so there was no tugging during application but the color didn't feel slippery while worn, which made them easier to apply straight from the tube and low-maintenance on the lips.
They tend to dry and wear down to a soft matte finish within one to three hours of wear, and while they are very lightweight on, they hug the lips more as they become more matte (compared to initial feel). The wear time has been between four and six hours for most shades, and most shades were non-drying to lightly hydrating. They were vanilla-scented but had no discernible taste.

On Repeat
ColourPop On Repeat Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a rich, deep coral-red with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had opaque pigmentation that applied fairly evenly, but the thinner, more matte texture seemed to emphasize my lip lines a bit more than other shades (which had a smoother end result). The lipstick itself was still creamy enough not to tug on my lips, and it was easy to control along the edges of my lips. It wore well for almost six hours and left behind a slight stain, but I found this one to be a a smidgen drying after four hours, where it seemed to feel a bit thinner and looked more matte.

Get a Room
ColourPop Get a Room Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium orange with warm, red undertones and a satin finish. It had good color coverage, though it wasn’t opaque, and this was particularly unforgiving on my lips. There was something about the way it applied that made it prone to pulling away at my lip lines and emphasizing every line and imperfection on my lips. The texture itself was creamy and smooth–comfortable and easy to apply–but looked significantly less flattering on compared to most shades in the range. It wore well for five and a half hours, left a subtle stain behind, and it was non-drying overall, though it felt drier (again, not drying!) and looked very matte after three hours of wear.

I am so glad that I ordered On Repeat! When I was watching several YT live swatching videos of the Lux Lipsticks, this is one of the shades that consistently looked wonderful applied. That, plus your own sneak peek, told me I needed this perfect winter coral-red!
Now to wait for Ghosted to be restocked….?
On Repeat and Ghosted are gorgeous shades and they look a lot like the Kat Von D studded lippies, but at a fraction of the price.
I didn’t get a chance to place an order before my favorites were out of stock, Ghosted and On Repeat are on my list – beautiful colors and finishes.
Ghosted is really pretty!
GHosted is so pretty l didn’t know I needed it u til now and although get a room got a less than stellar review I think it looks gorgeous on you and the color is divine and might have to purchase it as well. I will just have to wait for a restock
Wow! I wish I was able to stand wearing lipstick because Ghost looks so amazing!
From the brand’s inception, haven’t had the best of luck with Colourpop’s lip products (with the exception of the lip liners. Those, I love). But these Lux lipsticks are blowing me away! The finish looks great, but more importantly, it *feels* really good to me. I have a few already, and Ghosted has quickly become my favorite every-day lipstick. It’s so flattering and easy to wear! After seeing all your swatches and reviews, I have another one or two that I may order — if so, I think I need to get a backup of Ghosted while I’m at it. I like it that much! LOL
