Sephora Rose Wood & Warm Kiss Cream Lip Stains Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Rose Wood (85)
Sephora Rose Wood (85) Cream Lip Stain ($14.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a medium-dark pink with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The color payoff was fantastic with opaque coverage in a single layer. The texture was slightly thinner compared to most shades I’ve tried in this formula, and I had very, very slight streaking in places even after it dried down, though it wasn’t noticeable in person, just if I zoom in on the close-up photo. It dried down within 20 seconds on me but didn’t feel clingy, despite being thin. This shade stayed on nicely for seven hours and felt a bit drying after six hours of wear.

Formula Overview
$14.00/0.169 oz. - $82.84 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "high-coverage" that goes on "smooth" and yields a "silky, lightweight stain" that is "long-lasting" and "never sticky" and "won't dry out lips." One of the signature traits for the formula is that it is a thinner (and yet somehow creamy) texture that does spread well but feels thin and very lightweight on the lips. It dries down quickly, but I never felt like it was troublesome to apply, even if I needed an extra moment to get around the edges of my lips, so it was a more forgiving formula despite setting more quickly. Once it set, the color did stay locked on for hours--I tested shades for around eight hours and many were still going strong. The formula was non-drying to slightly drying to me. They had a moderately strong, sweet scent (almost like burnt sugar) that also smelled just slightly "perfume-y" to me, but it seemed to dissipate after an hour of wear.
The pigmentation varied from shade to shade, but it did seem that the more shimmery and metallic shades often were less pigmented and did not always apply as evenly and sometimes seemed to sit in my lip lines. The cream/matte shades applied more evenly and had more opaque coverage on average.

Warm Kiss (82)
Sephora Warm Kiss (82) Cream Lip Stain ($14.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark plummy brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It was richly pigmented and had a smooth, lightweight texture that was creamy and thin enough to dry down quickly but still fluid and dense enough to cover my lips evenly with full coverage. It wore well for seven and a half hours and felt non-drying while worn.

Most of these are quite good. Glad to know if you are scouting them and like a shade, unlikely to be a disappointment.
I am really enjoying this series of reviews of the Sephora cream lip stain. Thank you!
Even though I do have Ciate Pin-up, it’s a few years old and much used. So seeing Warm Kiss as something I’d rate as a 95% dupe, I’m going for it! Likely not right away. But come autumn, oh yes! ā¤
These shades are so pretty, andāYAYāI have dupes for both!
Warm Kiss is a pretty shade of pink. These are good value.
Up until now I assumed there are no liquid lips I would ever desire…but these Sephora cream reviews have me second guessing myself. They all look so smooth and gorgeous on you!! I think Iām going to pick one up and give the formula a whirl.
I just got Warm Kiss and it pulls so much greyer on me than on Christine. On me it’s more of a deep greyed plummy brown and almost no hint of pink. Still looks good and the formula is excellent, but not quite the color I was hoping for.
I have no idea how it went gray!!
