It is supposed to be a “lightweight, bold lipstick with a satin finish”liquid lipstick that is “extra intense colour saturation” and “long-wearing,” but the brand is quick to note that it is “not completely kiss proof.” The consistency is very light to lightweight with a thin to mousse-like consistency–they feel a little heavier going on than the Ultra Matte formula, but they don’t feel heavy on. They dry down somewhat, but it isn’t a full, flat dry down like matte liquid lipsticks, and when you press your lips together, there is moderate tackiness there, but I didn’t notice any lifting or separating of color by doing so.

They have been extremely long-wearing and comfortable to wear for the most part–it’s after ten hours or so that I notice my lips feeling a little dry–but six hours into wear and the colors have looked good post-meals/post-drinking. I think if you like the idea of longer-wearing, mostly matte lip color but find most liquid lipsticks too drying or too flat while not needing an ultra-hydrating formula, you might like these.

I love this lipstick. It is longlasting without being drying, and does not flake off. It is not tacky or sticky either.

Such a pretty everyday color. On my light complexion, it leans more mauvey, almost plum. I get compliments every time I wear it. In fact, I've bought it as a gift because my friends love the color. On a another note, the Ultra Satin Lips are such a good formula - pigmented, comfortable, and relatively long-lasting!

I am so torn on this lipstick! The color is pretty and I love the Ultra Satin formula, but it stains my lips a SUPER bright pink/fuchsia. This wouldn't be a huge deal but you can see it around the edges as this color wears off, and it's very hard to remove if you want to reapply. I want light pink with this color, not fuchsia.

London Fog is a beautiful, bright, true red lipstick. Putting it on is a bit of a chore, though. The slightest touch will stain badly. The first time I tried putting it on, I got a little on my finger and then my finger touched my cheek, and BAM...big red stain on my perfectly made up cheek! Not to mention my stained finger. And it took effort to get the stain off my finger. What I learned about applying this lipstick is to wipe excess off the applicator on the edge of the tube and put a thin layer on. Go extra s-l-o-w-l-y and be extra careful to stay within the lines. Then keep hands, hair, etc. away from the face for 30 minutes and try not to close the lips too much. Just let it dry down and set. That might sound annoying, but the payoff is AMAZING! Once this color sets, it's is incredibly comfortable and gorgeous. Being an Ultra Satin, it will feel a bit matte-like, yet not drying. It can transfer, so be careful even after it dries. But once set, this lipstick will stay on for a long, long time, with no need for touchups, even after eating and drinking. London Fog will be replacing my MAC lipstick as my go-to red lipstick quite often because despite the difficulty of putting it on (and it IS more difficult than the MAC lipstick), once set, it is a reliable, no-maintenance lipstick. And just $6!!!!

This is a very pretty terracotta lipstick. It goes on creamy, smooth, and opaque. I was moved to write this review after wearing it for the first time today. I put it on at 7:30 a.m. and went to work. Nine hours later, after eating and drinking during the day, it was still going strong without a single touch up! I had put on a bit of Kiehl's lip balm in the morning about 20 minutes before applying the lipstick, as I always do, which may have helped it stay on without feeling dry, but I think the Colourpop Ultra Satin formula is pretty amazing.

This is a beautiful lavender. I love Colourpop's satin formula because it's almost matte, just not as drying. Molly is highly pigmented and is opaque with one swipe. It's a perfect purpleIsh color for me. Not too pale, not too dark. It's edgy, but I can just get away with it at the office. It's also very long-wearing. And it has a cute name. Tip: Let it set for five minutes before closing your lips.

First thing I'll say is that I hate the name of this lipstick. Otherwise, this is a beautiful dusty mauve color. The satin formula dries quickly, but does not dry out my lips. It is not moisturizing either. It is comfortable to wear and lasts for many hours without touchup. I even drank a cup of hot coffee and it didn't budge!

The satin finnish is really beautiful, it's look semi matte with a subtle sheen. The color is super opaque and the formula is liquidy but when it's dry, it feels super smooth.

The formula is insane I absolutely love how it feels on the lips... the color goes amazingly well with medium tan skin ... thought it was going to look weird but the result was the opposite... I think it flatters all skin tones :)

This is my go to liquid lipstick, its highly pigmented, long lasting, non-drying and the color is absolutely stunning! I get compliments all the time! I apply it at 7 am and it lasts me through the day and the color stays on perfectly (even through meals!). I highly recommend this color to anyone considering buying a liquid lipstick from colourpop.

As much hope as I had for this color, its more of a purple than it is a deep plum brown. The color is a little off from what is shown on the colourpop website. However, the formula is still fantastic and is long wearing. It is transferable, but stays on for the long haul. I would definitely recommend for someone with paler skin, but as I have olive skin, it looked strange. I do own other colors int he collection and absolutely love them.

This lippie literally just came in the mail this afternoon. This is such a great peachy nude color. The Ultra Satin liquid lippie is better than the Matte ones especially if you have dry lips. The Ultra Satin one has this amazing hydrating formula that moisturize your lips. Even if it's not transferproof, but it's really hydrating and easy to apply and not sticky or tacky at all. Basically yes they have a Satin finish, but on me they have more like semi-matte finish and a bit velvet-ish. So they are hydrating and look really great, kinda gloss but not really. It's a bit matte as well but still creamy. It has amazing color and formula.

This is my favorite liquid lipstick formula yet. It's not at all drying on my lips and applies very smoothly, although in the future I'll probably use lip liner or a lip brush to apply for crisp, even edges. The satin finish can be blotted for a more matte look. The color is a nice, flattering, vampy shade on my fair, slightly olive, yellow-based skin.

This was comfortable to wear, but unfortunately, on my skin tone it turned out to be a "my lips but slightly worse" color...I'm kind of bummed, but I think it could look really nice on a pale skin tone.
