Sephora Brunch Date, Oui, Somewhere in Spain Lipstories Lipsticks Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Brunch Date (01)
Sephora Brunch Date (01) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark peachy brown with soft, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had good color coverage, though it was shy of full coverage, and I could see my lip freckle peeking through. The texture was smooth, velvety, and a little thin but not clingy. It seemed to pull into my lip lines a little bit more than other shades in the line, and it also had more of a matte finish within an hour. It wore well for four hours and was neither drying nor hydrating.

Formula Overview
$8.00/0.14 oz. - $57.14 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "lightweight" with "full-coverage color in one swipe." The majority of shades were pigmented with semi-opaque to full color payoff in a single layer, as described. The more shimmery shades tended to be a bit sheerer overall, while the mattes and creams were usually closer to opaque in coverage.
The textures were typically creamy, lightweight, and not too thin or too thick on the lips, so they were comfortable to apply and to wear. There were some shades where the color pulled into my deeper lip lines upon application, and it was more or less noticeable just depending on the color and finish of the particular.
Some shades seemed hydrating and others were non-drying. They lasted anywhere from three to over six hours on me. There was a subtle, sweet, fruity scent (I couldn't detect it on, just in the tube), and I haven't noticed any taste after wearing them.

Oui (03)
Sephora Oui (03) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a muted, medium pink with soft, warm undertones and a satin finish. The pigmentation was very nearly opaque in a single layer, but better yet, the color went on evenly across my lips without tugging or streaking. The texture was lightweight, lightly creamy but not overly slippery, and felt hydrating over the four hours it lasted for.

Somewhere in Spain (04)
Sephora Somewhere in Spain (04) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a light-medium peach with strong, warm yellow undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had nearly opaque color payoff in a single layer, and the color applied evenly across the lips despite having a moderate amount of slip. The consistency was lightweight, creamy, and glided on with ease. There was a smidgen of color that gathered in my deeper lip lines, but I was impressed at how minimal it was given the lightness and glossiness of the shade. It wore well for three and a half hours on me and was lightly hydrating over time.

These are some nice shades. I’m especially interested in trying on Oui! That one looks like a much higher end lipstick than its $8 pricetag would suggest!
Also, Somewhere In Spain with a darker, browner lip liner, maybe? It might work, right? I love how it has such a smooth, glossy finish for such a light shade!
What lovely everyday shades on you! To overuse one of today’s cliches, three major Nonstatement Statement lipsticks. These should be popular, as they’ll suit many.
The cream lipsticks look quite good – nice and moisturising.
I really love the picture patterned lipstick caps!
I guess the lipsticks look okay too… 😉
I thought the swatches looked good when you first posted them, but I just LOVE this packaging. Would be all over these if we had Sephora in the UK.
