Tan Lines (06)
Sephora Tan Lines (06) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium peach with warm, orange undertones and a glossy finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation covered my lips evenly for the most part, but it had very slight streaking along the edges, though I couldn’t see it in person (just in my close-up photos!). The lipstick had an emollient, slightly slippery texture, which made it comfortable to glide across my lips, but I could feel it moving around over the three and a half hours it lasted for. It was lightly hydrating, though.

Formula Overview
$8.00/0.14 oz. - $57.14 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "lightweight" with "full-coverage color in one swipe." The majority of shades were pigmented with semi-opaque to full color payoff in a single layer, as described. The more shimmery shades tended to be a bit sheerer overall, while the mattes and creams were usually closer to opaque in coverage.
The textures were typically creamy, lightweight, and not too thin or too thick on the lips, so they were comfortable to apply and to wear. There were some shades where the color pulled into my deeper lip lines upon application, and it was more or less noticeable just depending on the color and finish of the particular.
Some shades seemed hydrating and others were non-drying. They lasted anywhere from three to over six hours on me. There was a subtle, sweet, fruity scent (I couldn't detect it on, just in the tube), and I haven't noticed any taste after wearing them.

Love Love (07)
Sephora Love Love (07) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium beige with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It looked more matte after an hour or so of wear. The consistency was creamy, smooth, and comfortable to work with but was a bit thicker compared to most shades in the formula. The pigmentation was opaque, and it covered my lips fairly evenly but had a bit of product get into my lower lip lines. This shade stayed on well for four and a half hours, but I continued to see lip liner pull into my deeper lip lines over time. It didn’t seem hydrating, but it wasn’t drying either.

Labyrinth City (09)
Sephora Labyrinth City (09) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium-dark, reddish plum with warm undertones and a satin finish. The pigmentation was fantastic–completely opaque in one stroke–and covered my lips evenly. The consistency was smooth, velvety, and had enough creaminess not to drag on my lips during application but still felt comfortable to wear. It wore well for five hours and was lightly moisturizing while worn.

Labyrinth City looks amazing! Such a beautiful plummy shade.
The other two shades are a bit too light for me. With Love Love most likely making me look cold and dead.
Labyrinth City is absolutely stunning – a fabulous lipstick shade.
I have the Tan Lines and Oui! from this collection. I like them for a very emollient feeling with a subtle color that’s better than just a lip balm. Both great neutrals. Tan Lines is perfect for summer.
Labyrinth City is living up to all the great plums in the Tarte line…and those are great. Thanks again for those…had written off Tarte. If anyone is wondering, the 2 Tarte dupes were not in the xmas minis. Very nice.
Tan lines is a really great color on you!
If I ever needed to add another to my collection of two dozen reds, I’d definitely get Labyrinth City.
Just wanted to add: I know you classified it as plum, but on me, LC would pull red.
Although all three were lovely, tan line lines and labyrinth city would work best for me. Overall, I really like this Sephora lippie line.
I love how these lipsticks don’t look like a dry matte! They look so pretty on the lips!
Wow your eyebrows look amazing! Are you doing something different? Your eyes look great too! What eyeshadow did you use????
No, I’m not doing anything different! Everything is listed under “Makeup Look.”
