Coral Blushes Over $20

Now, here’s a look at the best coral blushes (that are permanent!) that are $20 or more. I think we can safely say that the mid-end to luxury end of the market as certainly covered coral across the board!  Some of my personal favorites are:  Marc Jacobs Lines & last Night, Clinique Ginger Pop/Peach Pop, Chanel Malice, Surratt Ponceau, MAC Telling Glow, and MAC Cheeky Bits.  What are your favorite coral blushes over $20?

I only have 2 coral blushes – Coralista from Benefit (which I received as a free GWP) and MAC Morning Breeze which has a gorgeous finish but which I wish I’d never bought as it’s such an unnatural colour on me. I’ve also got a peachy blush in the Tarte for Aqualillies palette. It is called Captivating and it was LE in the middle of this round palette. I use it from time to time as it seems to become less peach and more pink when I apply it but, in the main, coral blushes and me are just not best buddies.

Oh GREAT – I just took a closer look at Nars Amour and it looks so beautiful and flattering and now I’m thinking “heck, maybe I should give this sort of Coral another try….”. Nice going, Christine! You are SUCH an enabler! (and I am SO weak).

Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Love Hangover and How Deep Is Your Love. I think one of them is actually described as watermelon-colored, but they both look coral to me.

Sadly I think the Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflés are discontinued. They popped up on sale at a few online stores but they seem to have disappeared now.

UGH I know right?! Iv swatched both at sephora countless times. I just never had the extra money to BUY them at the time!

I own Cola pop, and Plum pop. Abd they’re both the best blushes I own imo!

I agree Nancy, Spring Flock is gorgeous!!! I got a backup because its just that pretty, and I never get backups. It’s one of my all time favorites.

I don’t have any of these — but a red coral would be great for me. My favorite, daily blush is Laura Geller Pink Grapefruit, which isn’t quite a coral I think. What a great list — will go through these in store to see what happens.

I have 7 from the list. I soo want ponceau from surratt. I have 3 surratt blushes if I get another one that means I HAVE to have 2 more to fit em in the trio palette, right?!?!?!

Hourglass Incandescent Electra is one of my favorite, most-used blushes of all time! The Hourglass blushes are just so lovely, I must try more!

I’d say MAC Mineralize New Romance, while mostly pinky-peach, pulls enough coral in it on me to include it as a favorite.

Makeup Geek Romance (in the original formula) is so, so pretty (I should put it in the under $20 post, but why not put all my favorite corals together). I’m sad that Makeup Geek reformulated their blushes. The new ones are fine, but the old formula had a really special, flattering, and unique finish that I loved. I’m glad I got a couple of shades before they were gone.

I also have Clinique Melon Pop, which is really nice, although my normal super-fluffy and lightweight blush brushes aren’t enough to pick up this formula, which initially made me not like it and think it wasn’t pigmented (it’s super pigmented, you just need to be tougher on it!).

Most of all, I notice I tend to lean towards shades that are mostly peach or mostly pink, with a hint of coral to them, instead of something strongly coral. I also seem to really love luminous finishes on my corals!

Not a lot of these, not surprisingly. I’m a Mariella. Though coral blushes DO blend out, unlike coral lips! Rockateur has zero peach/coral; for me it’s an almost Victorian, old fashioned rosy brow. Papa Don’t from an old palette, Amour from an old palette, depotted and prob forgotten. And Toile…the red and orange corals are much better for me all around, than the pink ones. Love’em on others!
