Laura Geller Papaya Baked Gelato Swirl Blush
Laura Geller Papaya Baked Gelato Swirl Blush ($26.00 for 0.17 oz.) is described as a “vibrant coral.” It’s a lightly brightened, medium coral with warm, pink and red undertones and a fine, white pearl that gives it a luminous sheen applied. MAC Fleet Fast (LE, $21.00) is more shimmery, darker. Bobbi Brown Coral (P, $25.00) is warmer. Tom Ford Beauty Love Lust (P, $55.00) is more shimmery, lighter. NARS Soulshine (Together) (LE, $30.00) is darker, more muted, warmer. Chanel Malice (71) (P, $45.00) is more muted. MAC Hi Jinks! (LE, $22.00) is less shimmery. Surratt Beauty Ponceau (P, $32.00) is brighter, cooler. Surratt Beauty Ponceau (P, $32.00) is brighter, cooler. NARS Panic (Right) (P, ) is darker. ColourPop Fox (P, $8.00) is less shimmery, lighter, cooler. ColourPop Jelly Fish (P, $8.00) is more shimmery, darker. Dior Pink Glow Blush (LE, ) is less shimmery. Burberry Blossom (P, $42.00) is less shimmery, warmer. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.
The formula is described as having vivid and “translucent, vibrant color” with a “flirty, natural-looking flush” that goes on “like a powder but feels like a cream.” They have a very similar texture as the Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators I reviewed earlier this year, which I totally fell in love with. The texture has a smooth, denser feel to it that has good color payoff that’s incredibly easy to blend out on the skin. The pigmentation varies from shade to shade, but they are generally quite pigmented. Papaya had good pigmentation with a soft, dense texture in the pan that made the product very blendable on the skin without skipping or becoming patchy, despite its brighter color. As the blush is blended and worked into the skin, the finish becomes a real sheen rather than detectable shimmer. This shade wore for just over eight hours before fading on me.

I was just going to say how pretty this is (and it is!) and then I saw Colourpop Jellyfish! Looks like a better choice for me 🙂
Jellyfish is an awesome one!
I still want TF Love Lust however I might get this to hold me over until I win the lottery! LOL
LOL! 😀
I take back what I said yesterday! I need THIS one in my life, oh my gosh! The prettiness of it :-O
It is gorgeous!
Oh..I love this one too! I have several of the dupes you mentioned. So, I would probably go for Guava over this one out of the ones you have reviewed so far!
Guava is a good one 😀
Preeeeeeeetttyyyy. The texture in the pan looks appealing, too!
I’m really digging these blushes!
Pretty! Yay for Jellyfish as a dupe. 😉
Yet another great coral!
Wowwwwwnnesssssss …. so wow it iss
It is gorgeous!
Another blush I must have! Gorgeous on you! <3
Aw, thank you Shipra! 😀 It will be pretty on you!
What a gorgeous shade of blush, although I love Guava a bit more! And both apply so nicely, which is an enormous plus in my book. That said, I will probably still go for ColourPop’s Jellyfish. It has been sitting in my cart all month while waiting for the ever elusive Boba….there isn’t going to be anymore Boba, though.
Awww!
Gorgeous blush and it looks beautiful on you Christine.
Aw, thanks Genevieve!
You look so pretty! I love this makeup look!
Thank you, Pteetsa!
DAYUM, that’s pigmented! Very pretty!
Agreed!
