The formula is supposed to have an “ultra-silky” texture that gives a “healthy-looking glow” and a “rush of fresh, radiant color.” The press release is more specific and says it’s supposed to have “buildable dewy color that lasts all day.” According to the brand, the blush formula is a reformulation, but I don’t have any shades in the previous formula to compare to (and it’s been awhile since I last tried one, so all I can say is that they feel, in general, a little smoother). The blush has a smooth texture that is firm, a little thin, but it wasn’t dry or dusty and applied well without being fussy to blend out. The coverage is buildable from semi-sheer to semi-opaque. On my skin, the blush wore well for seven and a half hours before fading.

Sensuous Rose (the old formulation at least) is my favourite natural looking blush, it seems to very closely match my natural blush, but mine’s getting old (it’s formed that hard filmy layer that makes it harder to get pigmentation), so it’s very useful to have an updated list of dupes here!
Phew! 🙂 At least they haven’t discontinued it yet either!
This looks like a nice, classic color. At least these are performing better than their Edit versions
Haha, thankfully!
These are pretty, but I just don’t think I will jump on them at this price point. I can get amazing dupes for less and super high end for not much more.
However, I did want to say that I’ve been using the new Tarte foundation for a week now and I’m absolutely in love! I know it’s harder for you to test foundations and concealed, but you have never steered me wrong, Christine!
Ahh! I love hearing that, Katie 🙂 When I REALLY love something (and it’s obvious!), I get so nervous people will try it and hate it, lol!
Now, this shows how EL can do a blush! So why are the edits so bad? Do they think younger buyers won’t know a subpar blush from a beauty like this? If so, they’re not giving young people enough credit.
I’m still puzzled over the pans being loose in the Estee Edit blushes.
I’m such a sucker for peachy-browns. I just can’t resist! I think this’ll push me to finally get Makeup Geek Bliss. Their blush formula is perfection! Plus, it’s 50% off.
50% off is perfect!
This looks promising. I never tried Estee Lauder blush and this can be my first try! Thank you for great review.
No problem, Thao!
Very pretty. I’m not to sure if I could pull it off. These blushes seem a little spendy. Not that Chanel isn’t but they usually have the perfect amount of sheen.
I bet you could wear this shade, Erin!
I’m glad these are performing better than the Estee Edit products did!
Me too!
I do like this but think I’d go for a cheaper dupe.
Good idea!
Another very pretty shade, this is the kind of color I spontaneously reach for when in doubt.
Oooh, nice!
This blush is beautiful! It’s going on my Wishlist 🙂
Yay!
Oh, Idk, but I think that I really love those Kiko blushes better for this nice, soft natural looking blush! Plus a few other offerings from other brands lately. I guess I’m expecting better at $37.
I totally understand!
This is one of the best blushes for pale peeps who are scared of blush. I love this one! Still curious to compare the ingredients on the new formula with the old to see if there ARE any differences. Sensuous Rose is the next best thing to MACs long discontinued Strada, which was the best blush on the PLANET for us ghoulishly white folk! Haha Both are just really pretty!
I hope you can compare for us 😉
