Clinique Peach Pop (02) Cheek Pop Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Peach Pop (02)
Clinique Peach Pop (02) Cheek Pop Blush ($25.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a pink-coral with a satin finish and warm undertones. The texture is soft and blendable, but the smoothness of the color is extraordinary. It smooths and skims across the skin as if it were a cream blush, but it’s definitely a powder.
If you want a sheer wash of color, it’s easily achieved by using a light tap of the brush into the pan, but it has good, true-to-pan color payoff that can be as intense or as soft as desired, as it blends out so effortlessly. The finish is lightly luminous, doesn’t emphasize pores, and looks like skin–never powdery. Peach Pop wore well for eight hours, and then it started to fade.

Formula Overview
$21.00/0.12 oz. - $175.00 Per Ounce
The formula is described as “vibrant yet natural-looking cheek colour that looks virtually powderless.” The texture was smooth, soft, and dense, so it was never powdery in the pan or on the skin. The blush had good color payoff that was easily sheered out (or you could apply less, as the denser texture makes that easy to control).
It’s the kind of texture that almost blends itself as soon as you start applying and working it onto the skin. The finish became more luminous as I blended the powder onto the skin, but it was never shiny or overly shimmery, so it always looked smooth on my skin and did not emphasize pores or my skin’s texture. Most shades lasted between eight and nine hours on me.

Ooh! This is really pretty! I might as well cave in and purchase Berry Pop and Plum Pop too. 😀
Sounds like a good plan 🙂
Peach is really not a natural colour for me in a blush but I can’t wait to see how the pink one fares in your review and how it looks! I so don’t need a new blush but these are just so darned cute and just the sort of “lift” I’m looking forward to after a really bitter winter!
They are perfect for winter/spring!
Is gorgeous! Such a good price too!
Yup! Pretty, high quality, and not too pricey!
Pink corals ALWAYS have me at hello! I might really need to get this one 🙂
It’s SO pretty!
This looks so, so pretty on you, Christine!
These new blushes seem to be doing really well! I’m adding them to my (enormous) wishlist of things to try 😉
Thank you, @Sylirael! 😀
Ooh that’s lovely on you Christine!! These blushes seem to be irresistible – can’t wait to try them out in stores. By the way, I especially like the bright pop on your eyes.
Thank you so much, Neha!
Ginger Pop is a dupe for Peach Pop? =P
I’m still torn over which of the 4 blushes to get!
They’re close enough that I wanted to compare 🙂
I got Berry Pop yesterday and I LOVE it! So smooth and such gorgeous color. It’s nice to see this from Clinique!
Woohoo!!!
The day dream shade will surely make me look younger than my age. I’m impressed with the presentation of this pop blush. It’s affordable too and can result into awesome blushes.
Hope you find a shade that could work for you!
Another A, hurray! And that rhymes, so that makes it extra true. This really is a wonderful color, it looks so pretty on you.
Haha!
I’ve just been venting about how I am a no-blush person, but this one looks like a shade that I might actually love!
Oooh, if you try it, I hope it works out for you, Alex!
I was a “no-blush person” for many, many years. While I did dabble occasionally, I pretty much gave up on it until recently, after 20 years. After finding some shades that *really* worked for me, I’ve totally come around! I think if you find “the one”, you may have a different opinion.
Based on your review yesterday, I went over to Macy’s to check out these blushes. I don’t think I’ve ever bought a Clinique product. I’m a MAC devotee, and buy Nars, Tom Ford, Illamasqua, and Dior blushes. Never have bought anything from E Arden, E Lauder or here. But these are great- thanks for the heads up. I bought the peach. I have to say, they remind me very much of Mally’s airbrushed blushes, which to me are really absolutely the nicest blushes ever, especially if you are not 20. They come with a highlighter also that totally rocks, just FYI. I don’t think she shows them when she’s on tv, but I got bought her peach blush like 4 months ago on her website. This is really nice blush as well. And cute packaging.
I will have to check out Mally’s Airbrushed Blushes if you think these remind you of those and that those are your favorite/best!
Well technically…when you purchase MAC you are purchasing an Estee Lauder product 🙂 But I know what you mean!
I love this color on you, and you make the formula sound amazing! I will definitely check it out the next time I’m at a counter.
The formula really, really impressed me. That’s HARD to do… I’ve just seen and played with so much (I am lucky!), so when a powder blush comes around and makes me go, “THIS IS AWESOME!” I get SO excited!
Really Christine, is there something that you can’t pull it off. You look beautiful girl. Thank you for your reviews. Every afternoon I wait for my temptalia mail, to keep up with my cosmetics obsession.
You’re too kind, Fabiola!! Thank you so much 🙂
I love these! they look so awesome
100% amazing blushes!
Wow, how beautiful! The packaging and the shade itself are both so lovely. Clinique is really stepping up their game! 🙂
Agreed!
So after your announcement that the new Hourglass Ambient blushes are on sale, I bought the five that were available. I think I’ll be purchasing these too, they look so beautiful. I’m thinking I need to go through my collection and make room… Lol
LOL!
This color wouldn’t work on me, but it looks great on you!
Aw, thanks @Melinda!
This looks gorgeous! I’m so excited by these and I am definitely buying at least one of them!
Which shade are you leaning towards?
I really like this on you. I think i need to get this even though I don’t really need any more coral colors in my collection.
Haha, Farida! I am a coral-a-holic! The last thing I need is another coral, but this one I’d make room for!
I will picking up a few of these during the next Clinique GWP!
Excellent idea 😀
I’ve been so excited to see these reviewed, glad they perform well!
I’m so relieved they do!
Mine! Just placed an order at Nordstrom 😀 If the next two are just as good I might get those as well.
You’ll probably get the other two, lol!
These blushes are just too cute and the creamy formula makes it even better! I can’t wait to see more! I’m making a list lol
They’re really impressive @Fancie! I hope you get to try ’em!
I’m so easily swayed I just know I will lol. I’ve decided on Ginger Pop and Berry Pop so far! I think I want this one too if it looks different enough from Ginger Pop on me
Wow! That is seriously a gorgeous color. Like the sounds that it acts as a cream. Means it would be fine if you have dry skin.
I think it would be! It just looks and acts like a cream in so many ways.
This shade would make me look sunburned, but I can see it as a flattering choice for a broad range of people. The color itself is gorgeous!
Hopefully the next two will be more palatable for you, Amy!
!!! So pretty.
Agreed!
Having trouble finding the ingredients list online – do these have talc as an ingredient? I’m guessing so but wanted to double check! I’m trying to stick to talc-free blushes since the talc breaks me out (no NARS blushes for me 🙁 ).
Hi Caroline,
I didn’t receive any boxes, just the compacts, so I don’t have an ingredient list.
Thank you!! I wasn’t seeing pics of the boxes on other sites either. And I couldn’t find the ingredients on Clinique’s website (seems strange – maybe I wasn’t trying hard enough!). Guess I shall wait til I can see a package in store… I love both of the ones you reviewed so far – you were right in thinking they’d both be good!
You might try calling a counter and asking if talc is an ingredient 🙂 I have asked for ingredient lists over the phone before, lol!
Try the Sephora site. They usually have lists of ingredients! HTH
Yay! I ordered cheek pop in the shade Berry pop along the hourglass blush yest! Hopefully that one will perform the same way! 🙂
Fingers crossed for you @Vineetha!
Ok so all these new blushes coming out are torturing me. Then you have to go and recommend the cute one with the flower on it! Sigh… I want all the blush! Haha blush is my favorite kind of makeup. Thanks for the review!
xx
LOL! Sorrrrry. Better this than a Tom Ford blush, right?
Yes yes! Totally better 🙂
Oh God, I love love love it! And it’s much budget friendlier than Dior Corail Bagatelle!
Plus, you look stunning! Hope it looks that good on me too! 🙂
Very true! 🙂
Hi Christine, I love this blush on you! You look so gorgeous and radiant!! I actually recently bought Dior’s Corail Bagatelle, which I know you listed as similar, but lighter. Yet, I’m still tempted to buy this! Would you say that the texture, appearance, etc. of this Clinique blush would justify me purchasing it even though I have Corail Bagatelle?
Thanks and have a wonderful weekend!! 🙂
Do any of the other shades from the Clinique blushes appeal to you? Would I own both… yes… but I am a coral fiend. Would I say go for something more different? Probably! 🙂
Wow these blushes are too cute and look so good on you. The flower makes it irresistible.. I hope it will last until one hits pan, but it’s far too cute to hit pan. Maybe I’ll buy one to use and one to admire (LOL). I will have to check them out the next time I go to Sephora or Nodstrom.
LOL! The design shouldn’t fade away right away or anything, though eventually if you keep using it, you’ll wear some of it away!
This looks gorgeous! Is it similar to theBalm’s Frat Boy?
Frat Boy is pinker and more matte!
How do you feel these compare to Tarte blushes in the way they apply? I’m a tarte blush fan but love this packaging!
The texture and feel of them are very different. Tarte’s blushes can be powdery, but these aren’t powdery at all.
I thought Ginger Pop was gorgeous, but when I saw this one, I totally lost it. I’ll wait for the reviews, but I might save up and buy all of these… of course, this one being the priority. I love peach blushes.
I have a special place in my heart for peach/coral blushes, too! 🙂
I need both Peach and Ginger Pop. Thanks for the swatches and good information!
My pleasure, Dee! xo
wow this looks so lovely on you!!!! i will be writing these blushes down on my to buy list.
Aw, thanks Kristin!
Wow, from your swatch, I think it is more pigmented than NARS Day Dream! Awesome! (a better option for WOC)
I love Marc Jacob Flirt on you, can’t wait for your review about the Matte Lip Gel formula.
Yes, I think it’s a little deeper and has less of a white base, so it’ll do a better job on deeper complexions!
I was wondering i these would look dewy. I might have to cave on my next paycheque and do an Sephora order for this one. *_*
Ooh, I can’t wait to read your review, if you end up buying it!
Clinique has launched such stunning colors! I need these! Can’t wait to see the other 2 shades in this range.
They did!
I am not a big fan of Clinique colour range either – I find their lipsticks to blah and blushes to safe in colour (except the Chubby Stick Intense range). But these look gorgeous in pan and on you. Now my real question is – how does one know whether they are actually good coz you look gorgeous in everything Christine! 🙂
I will wait for your reviews on all colours coz i seem to have had my fill of Corals and as you said, this is like Chanel Intonation (which i recently picked on our recommendation!)
You are too sweet, KK! 🙂
Thank you so much!
I always feel like I should “grow up” and stop using Clinique because I’ve been using it since I was fifteen, but their stuff is just so damn good! This blush is so pretty on you! I must have it! And you can go wrong when they have a gift with purchase!
No way! If it works, it works. Think of it as a cozy, comforting brand instead!
Christine, your “Temptalia Recommends” stamp of approval is very effective. I don’t need any more blushes, but these look amazing! I’m in love with the cute design as well as the effectiveness of the powder. Also, I had to say that the flower in your earring looked familiar, and I realized that they are the Temptalia logo! How cute! Did you make it?
Hey Por! 🙂
I didn’t! My mom did a custom piece with this shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/bellaanelajewelry) and gave me the earrings for Christmas!
What a great gift idea! The etsy site is so cute.
Hi Christine, thanks for the awesome review as always. Which of the new clinique blushes would be best for NW20? I only own two blushes (NARS Orgasm and Deep Throat) but these look gorgeous!! Thanks so much.
You might consider Berry Pop or Plum Pop. They’re both cooler-toned, and Ginger Pop and Peach Pop are more like Orgasm/Deep Throat (not dupes, but they’re all warmer, peach/coral).
This is so pretty! The color looks a bit like Nars orgasm. Clinique has been really upping their game the past few years. Like them a lot these days.
What are your favorite Clinique products?
I love their Long Last glosswear (sunset) & Chubby sticks!
On my wishlist: Their new superprimer face primers and Happy in bloom perfume.
I’m going to keep my eye out on those primers!
You had me at the packaging. Peach always looks very pretty on you! A great combination with the Marc Jacobs lip gel.
Thanks, Renu! xo
This colour is just so stunning! My wallet will be crying after picking 3/4 of these up! Ginger Snap and Peach Pop are my top faves!
At least you will be stunning in them!
I’m so glad you reviewed these because I’ve had my eyes on them! They look amazing on you! Would you agree that they photograph well? The shimmer looks to be brightening without being over the top sparkle.
Yes, I think they photograph well!
I’m surprised I haven’t commented on this. This is absolutely GORGEOUS. I keep going back and reopen this review because I just want to look at it forever. The shade reminds me of Darling Girl Cosmetics loose blush in Neon Trees that I love, maybe a little deeper.
If YOU, the almighty Christine say you’re enamored with the texture of a product, well, I think my wallet should stop screaming now, because I need half a dozen of this shade and maybe the rest of the line. Hey, not being much of a blush person means you tend to get obsessed with a shade or two. 😛
I know – with my love for Tom Ford blushes which is a LOT to do with the texture (great color payoff and wear, too), I was so impressed.
May I ask what your opinion is on the packaging? I’m strongly considering getting Peach Pop, but I’m pretty worried it wouldn’t be able to withstand travel.
Seems like pretty thick, sturdy plastic – it’s not flimsy, super lightweight plastic packaging. I know some readers remarked that it looked like drugstore packaging, but it didn’t feel that way to me. It doesn’t seem any less sturdy than other high-end blushes in plastic compacts!
That’s very good to know! I thought it looked like drugstore plastic packaging that my frequent travels have obliterated throughout the years, but I’m glad that it’s much sturdier than that. Thank you! 🙂
Hi Christine! How do peach and ginger compare to Orgasm and Torrid by Nars?
Both of those shades are pinker than Peach/Ginger! I don’t think they’re really comparable!
you look so bright and fresh with this color. Thumbs up!
Btw i also adore your lip gel. May i know what shade is that? It looks so gorgeous on you.
Thank you, Yenny!
On lips: Marc Jacobs Beauty Flirt Matte Lip Gel.
Hi! What do you think of the quality of these blushes vis a vis the Tarte Amazonian Clay ones? 🙂
I prefer these!
Christine, are these really permanent?
Clinique confirmed when I asked (when they originally released).
How does it compare to Benefit’s Coralista and Mac’s Peachykeen?
Coralista is darker, pinker, while Peachykeen is lighter, less pink/orange.
