Make Up For Ever #215 HD Blush ($26.00 for 0.09 oz.) is described as a “flamingo pink.” It’s a light-medium, soft pink-coral with a satin finish and warm undertones. Milani Coral Cove (05) (LE, $7.99) is darker, powder. Sleek MakeUP Newport Peach (P) is very similar. Hourglass Luminous Flush (P, $35.00) is pinker, powder. Hourglass Diffused Heat (P, $35.00) is powder. Physicians Formula Warm (P, $11.99) is more shimmery, powder. MAC Something Special (P, $21.00) is less pink. MAC Keep It Loose (LE, $20.00) is lighter. See comparison swatches.

If you prefer your coral to lean a little pink (rather than orange) and are in the mood for something easily described as light, fresh, and springy, #215 is one to consider. The formula on this shade is consistent with the other shades I’ve tested: lightly creamy, non-sticky, nicely pigmented, and turns to a more powdery feel as it is blended and worked into the skin. Even though it takes on a more powder-like feel and look, it retains the blendability of a cream and has a beautiful satiny finish that doesn’t have a lot of sheen but doesn’t look flat. This shade lasted almost eight hours on me before fading.

I LOVE this blush formula. I caved last week and bought this blush in the shade 510. What a beautiful cool-toned raspberry red! It looks completely natural when I sheer it out on my fair skin, and it lasted an entire day on me; about 9 or 10 hours. I almost want to say it ‘melted’ into my skin and got more beautiful as the day went on! Now to collect even more colors…

The MUFE woman at Sephora put this on me one day and it is PERFECTION. I am NC20 pale and it isn’t too warm at all. It’s gorgeous.

This one is surprisingly pretty… I may have to swatch this one at some point! There’s such an equal balance of warm & cool tones, and being so neutral, I wonder which way it would pull…

Hi Danni!

It’s Sephora Fuchsia Rouge infusion! Just a heads up, I try to put what I’m wearing on each post now, and you’ll find that info below the last image/end of the post!

I bought shades #420 and #510. Make Up For Ever did an awesome job with these. It is so easy to apply and blend out. A much affordable alternative for those who are eyeing Chanel or YSL cream blushes. This is a much more affordable option. Love, love, love.

I’m really curious how this compares to Tarina Tarantino’s Parasol blush. For some reason that is what first came to mind when I saw the swatch. Parasol is one of my faves so I’m trying to decide if I need this. Thanks.
