Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Ugh…I should’ve gotten Colibri when they didn’t have a free-shipping threshold.

I love these end of the year lists. So many things I forgot, so many things I wanted, so many things I know I’d hate, and so many things from companies I’m just completely sick of (colourpop).

This was definitely a year for some great…tube lipsticks? Something that almost feels like a slap in the face because of most of us having to still wear masks to protect ourselves and others from the worst pandemic in 100 years! And yet, I did actually buy a couple. Thankfully, MAC x Rosalia Nuez Moscado does stay put very nicely, though the Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolor I bought from that collection was an epic disaster.
And I so appreciate your ILNP swatch and wear project! This may just be what I need to jumpstart me doing my nails on a regular basis again. I hope.

Once again, the sheer number of products you have reviewed this year is mind boggling and thank you so much.
I like these end of the year lists because when you are after a product, you can check the list to see which was the best. And it’s good to see a wide variety of brands from differing price points on them too.

Thank you Christine for doing these lists, and all the great reviews you do on your blog. I love your blog and have for many many years, it is a great reference tool and I love the foundation matrix too. I hope you have a wonderful 2022.
PS Winnie is adorable and I know he brings you much love and joy.

Nice to see alot of Indie brands mixed with the luxe brands.. not alot of the Ulta type brands in there (I THINK) I noticed (but honestly, if this year’s anything like the last 2, it might’ve been ALL Tarte, Urban Decay, and Tarte etc.. lol)
And I do love seeing tube lippies again (surprised I didn’t see more glosses).. And ColourPop aside (first products from them I tried and loved was their Supershock formula, so no surprise people are trying that as a go-to cream Blush or highlighter… But I was still surprised there weren’t just 25 cream Blush and bronzer products .. but I liked what I saw on the list… I’m trying to start buying less this year, but I keep getting packages and it’s like, well oops?, as I’ve literally gotten to the point where I needed to bring in 4 other drawer units on rollers (all of which are just surrounding the vanity chair and looking for visible carpet to occupy) and 3 other storage towers in my makeup room, and now I cant walk in there at all.. there’s just a path from my vanity to the door, and I can wiggle to get to the items I need… It’s bad, but we don’t want to buy new storage or more for another year or so, since we’ll be moving and just.. blah

** Sorry for stressed filled clutter tangent..

Lol,
