ILNP Eclipse (H) Holographic Ultra Chrome Nail Polish ($12.50 for 0.4 oz.) has a black base with an intense, multichromatic shift that moves between charcoal black to warm black to reddish-burgundy to coppery orange. It has an underlying, fine metallic finish with the addition of holographic micro-flakes throughout. I had no trouble admiring the multichromatic shift in person, throughout the day, without having to hunt for it.
The texture was smooth, fluid, and easy to work with, though the formula itself was more pigmented so I felt like I could go with a thinner initial coat and a more normal-thickness secondary coat to ensure cleaner edges (without having to go back in). The second coat--and third coat if you're feeling extra--camouflages any visible brush strokes quite well, and the addition of holographic sparkle gives it a little extra oonph, but they are fine enough to let the shift really come through.
Per the brand, it has its maximum coverage in two to three coats. In the swatches, I've applied two coats and then one layer of Zoya Armor top coat (though I added Zoya Anchor as a base coat when I tested for longevity), which was effective to get opaque coverage. I wore this shade for 10 days and had minor tip wear and no chips.
