Sydney Grace Highlighters ($12.00 for 0.25 oz.) are a pressed, powder highlighters available as single pans. I reviewed several shades a few months ago, but I never did a round-up; why now? Because they’re on sale today for $7 (beginning at 9AM PT).

The highlighters are supposed to be “smooth and pigmented” that “blend like a dream” and “last all day long.” The majority of the shades in the range are incredibly pigmented with a creaminess to the texture that makes them a cinch to apply and blend out on my skin. I was most impressed by how soft, almost cream-like the powders were, yet they weren’t too loosely-pressed nor were they prone to powderiness. Some of the finishes are very metallic or frosted, so when worn at semi-opaque or higher coverage levels, they can emphasize my skin’s natural texture slightly. They have worn between eight and nine hours on me.

Aside from the awesome quality and conscious business practice, I love this brand for the very simple categorization-highlighters, blush, pressed pigment, etc. No fancy promises or complicated names to get through.

I peeked at my orders when signing in to order tomorrow, and I’ve spent more @SG than U, S, and Nordie’s combined since last ~November. SG has me totally snowed. I’m so glad Christine has swatches, as SG’s aren’t always the most reliable. Always and forever (?) blush turned out to be one for the Emperor, as in nearly invisible, so close to my skin tone, lol. Less of THAT, with Temptalia’s swatches.

It’s true, Deborah – once you pop, you can’t stop!

Morning Glory is especially gorgeous. Cantata, Sunkissed Peach and Pure Joy are also stunning IRL and I have Duchess and Rhythm in my cart as we speak…

Pure Joy, Morning Glory, ad PSL are my faves, though they’d be more of a shimmer blush on me. Mountain Trail is my objective. I ruled out deep and light cool mystery bags, as they likely duplicate shades I’ve already fallen for.
