Sydney Grace Luminous Light (Light) Face Palette Review & Swatches
Luminous Light (Light)
Sydney Grace Luminous Light (Light) Face Palette ($28.00 for 0.88 oz.) includes one highlighter, one bronzer, and two blushes (one matte, one more shimmery). All four shades were pigmented, blendable, and long-wearing, though the bronzer wasn’t quite as blendable as the blushes/highlighter were! This is the lightest option offered, and the very light pink blush did show up on my skin tone for reference!

The highlighters are supposed to be "smooth and pigmented" that "blend like a dream" and "last all day long." The majority of the shades in the range are incredibly pigmented with a creaminess to the texture that makes them a cinch to apply and blend out on my skin.
I was most impressed by how soft, almost cream-like the powders were, yet they weren't too loosely-pressed nor were they prone to powderiness. Some of the finishes are very metallic or frosted, so when worn at semi-opaque or higher coverage levels, they can emphasize my skin's natural texture slightly. They have worn between eight and nine hours on me.

It's a more pigmented blush, so it favors those who need or want richer coverage achieved with less product or in one layer, but those who prefer sheerer, more buildable blush may find there is a learning curve. The formula was very blendable and easy to work with, so I think it is more forgiving, particularly shades with some shimmer in them. The matte shades can be slightly powdery but do not look dry or dusty when applied, though they can darken a bit if not applied over drier or more matte skin (or a base). They wore between eight and 10 hours on me before fading noticeably.

This looks really beautiful. Even the bronzer, and I don’t even use bronzer!
Ooooooh this is gorgeous!
Since only the 1st two shades could work for me, it’s a pass. Then again, this one is a beauty for those who fall within “lightest” to lt.-medium range! I’m so glad that SG offers 3 options for all to be able to get one of these should they want/need a cheek palette. This past holiday season, Hourglass FINALLY got the message, and did much better by releasing 3 completely different levels of depth in their usual holiday face palette. Even though I am only medium, I saw other medium to tan people using the finishing powder as a bronzer and one of the highlighters as a blush topper, so I hopped on that!
This is a beautiful blush palette, but the inclusion of a bronzer puts me off because it has warm undertones that would just turn yellow on my cool toned complexion.
I’ve been waiting for you to review this! I’ve had it in my cart since it launched but unfortunately, the highlighter will be too warm and dark and the bronzer too warm/peachy so I’ll be skipping. I did, however, pick up the new single highlighter, Prism, and it’s incredible – pale neutral white with a luminous glow and no glitter, shimmer or sparkle! Perfect for pale cool toner vampires like me!
This looked so beautiful on Emily Noel on her YouTube video this week. Iām tempted!
