It is a long-wearing, pigmented lipstick that starts off glossy and dries down quickly to that super flat matte finish. They have minimal transfer with some of the lighter shades having almost none for the first few hours of wear, but any time you’ve had a meal, they lose that transfer-resistant quality to a noticeable degree. They tend to wear anywhere from six to ten hours with darker shades maintaining better color coverage and wear over a longer period of time.
Some shades get a little drying about two-thirds to three-fourths through the wear, while a few shades have been fairly non-drying even many hours into wear. They fade away evenly with most color loss occurring from the center of the lips if eating a more oil-based meal but the majority of color survives a meal.
Reapplication has been hit or miss and tends to depend on how well it wore away and how easily the shade applies normally, but reapplication tends to emphasize the lip’s natural texture significantly compared to initial application and gives lips a very wrinkled, dried-up look. I’ve layered gloss on top of some shades with moderate success, though it will obviously lose the matte finish and will transfer and I’ll get tiny flakes where the matte lip color has lifted by mixing with gloss but has been pretty minimal. The formula had no discernible taste or scent.

I love the price. I love the color range. I love the ingredients and brand. It can be very drying, though. It stays on forever, in most colors. Some of the shades flake off in bits and pieces. When you go to reapply, your new application is patchy because you can't really remove the bits that stayed on unless you have makeup remover and time. A lot of the colors work just fine, though! I personally prefer the satin range, as the finish is very similar, but it comes off in a more natural way (when/if it comes off, as it has nearly the same staying power).

Pooky Bear is described as 'true coral'. It's the best damn orange matte liquid lipstick I've ever tried so far. It lasted 7 hours on me, including meals, without flaking or drying out my lips because it's an orange firecracker of awesomeness. How I wish, Colourpop will launch this same color again coz' I really love it.

The texture of the liquid lipstick is very fluid and thin, making it easy for application. It does dry matte within seconds of application so you have to apply it quickly. The colour is very pigmented and it is extremely long-wearing and non-transferrable. The only thing I didn't like is that it was extremely difficult to remove (need an oil base remover and at least 2 full cotton wipes to completely remove lipstick). It also tends to be drying and flaky after a few hours.I got the Ultra Matte Lip Liquid Lipstick in shade Bumble, which is a vibrant rose colour (perfect for a night out with your girls). I really liked how deep and vibrant it looked on my fair Asian yellow-tone skin. Goes well with a minimalist look so all the attention is on your lips.

A great opaque with one swipe liquid lip that lasts all day for me. I sometimes get the tiniest amount of transfer when I wear this but often I don't see any at all. The formula is a little dry but completely comfortable with a small amount of chapstick underneath. The only issue I have with this is it dries soooo much darker than what is in the tube. When wet it is a lighter pale/dusty pink and it dries to be a darker brown pink, which looks almost nothing like it appears in the tube.

At first I really liked the colors. I bought six because I heard it was a good product. I had recently purchased a huda beauty liquid matte and I loved it the problem they are too expensive. So I decided to buy from colour pop. I wore one color to work. Everything was good until my lips started to itch and now I have a rash developing in my lips. I don't know what ingredients are being used but I don't think I will be ordering from colour pop anytime soon. I don't know I might be the only one with this problem but i just wanted people to know.

Though the colour pops (ha) and the product in itself is very nice, the lipstick bleeds so so bad. I wore it for the first time today and I honestly could not believe how much it was bleeding just from drinking starbucks through a straw. I had to run to college class without the chance to clean it up so I honestly looked like maybe I just had a red slushie all down my face. I got compliments on it when I first applied it though. And, I also made a review with two other lipsticks from colourpop on my youtube channel (Abbiechrissie) and saw that this seemed to be the only colour that bled. It is very nice though, overall.

I had previously dismissed the ColourPop Ultra Matte formula because the one time I wore it, it made my lips so dry that they hurt for a day or two after! But since they were giving some colors away I figured I'd try again. This time I put down a moisturizing base coat and and it's not killing my lips. And I ate a plate of pasta while wearing it and didn't lose a ton of color. Bonus!I really like this color, it's a nice orchidy shade. I think it's going to be beautiful for fall! For a little extra pizzazz add a pop of glitter or shimmery pigment to the center of the lips -- I used Urban Decay Moondust in Magnetic.

It went on so smooth, the color is so vibrant and it's cheap with a slight experience of the Kylie Jenner lip kit(same color a dulce k by the way) So all in all it's completely worth the money

They used to ship these quickly but now since they've become popular, it has been over 5 days and they have not even processed it. Once they process it, it'll take about 14 days to receive my items. The site should an estimated time (depending where you live) before placing an order.

maybe i just got a bad batch, but the color came out nothing like what the picture suggests. i was looking for a dupe of kat von d's double dare and this seemed to be the best match - however, the color i got was a brighter pinkish red, significantly more loud than double dare, which i had tried the week before. the color itself was pretty nice, just not at all what i had expected :--(

Beautiful color, true to photos, easy to wear (nc15). The formula is thin (in a good way), easy to apply, build able, and does not crack when you smile or move your lips! I have no qualms with this matte liquid lip formula because one should expect some semblance of 'dryness' in any matte-finish product.

Again, super sad about this color. Once applied it looked like a dark navy blue, not at all like the flashy cobalt pictured here or on their website. I almost wonder if they changed formulation? I'm NC15 if I'm lucky so I know its not my natural color darkening the product (plus the product is so opaque I can't see how this would be an issue anyway). There are a lot of navies on the market and I was hoping for a nice medium blue. :(

I wrote the same thing on colourpop's page, but on me it looked NOTHING like this color. It looked almost black green on me. I was truly hoping for this pretty royal teal color.

These liquid lipsticks have quickly become a favorite of mine. I own almost all of the shades and find the formula to be consistent. It is a runny thin yet opaque formula that dries quickly, but still gives you time to apply it well. For me, there is no streakiness and i have no problem layering the lipstick while it is wet. I find that it is slightly more drying than the Anastasia and Kat Von D liquid lipsticks but still manageable. Wearing chapstick or a moisturizing lip primer underneath is an absolute must for maximum comfortability. They last about 8 hours for me and i only notice the drying feeling during the first 15 mins and near the end of the wear. To reapply after eating, you can just layer on top, but i prefer to apply chapstick, wipe off the remnants, reapply chapstick, and then reapply the lipstick (this is more for comfort than for looks). For the price these are excellent. My one complaint is that the lettering on the tube comes off with friction from a purse, but this is not a big deal to me. I started with just 12 colors and now have 20! I just can't stop going back for more as the color selection is incredible! If you enjoy liquid lipsticks, which is all that i wear, then you will love these!
