Payasa is a rich, burgundy red with subtle, cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It wasn't fully dried down after 15 minutes (mostly around the edges), so those who want/need transfer-proof finish from the get-go should gently blot the edges. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied somewhat evenly, but there were areas where it applied better and worse along with a bit of product that sank into my deeper lip lines.
The consistency was lightweight, fluid, and spread well--almost a little too readily. It stayed on for over six hours, left a stain behind, and was non-drying.
