These lipsticks are beautiful but expensive and sometimes go rancid, for some people. I know you’ve not had that happen to you, personally Christine though. I don’t think I’d be able to use up one before it went rancid so for me it’s not worth it ?.

I read that people were having problems with the darker or browner shade but not with the pinks/lighter shades. Has that been your experience?

I’m so happy they’ve released these again. I wanted Stavros so badly the first time around, but wasn’t able to get it!
Definitely buying now.

Btw, I’ve had my first TF lipstick that went bad. I have quite a few of the Lips & Boys collection and only 3 of the regular. Only one of these has gone rancid and it was not from this collection. It was my beloved Negligee. I won’t be buying anymore of his full size lipsticks.

I know! Me too, I also have older MAC lipsticks that still have the vanilla smell. I bought Negligee about two years ago. It’s not really that old. And I’ve heard others say the same thing about theirs going bad as well. I do have another TF thats older (Cherry Lush) and its perfectly fine. Go figure! His line is too expensive to take the chance of something going bad too soon.

Thanks for tbe helpful ‘cheat sheet’ of the star members. This will be a handy guide when I’m in the market for Lips & Boys. I prefer the smaller lipstick sizes, and especially when I buy them at CCO prices.

I only have a few but their used regularly: Giacomo, Xavier, John, maybe Alex. Have my eye on Kingston and/or Michael.

I love this formula — I have eight Lips & Boys plus TF Showgirl, which I believe started life as a Lips & Boys under another name. For me, the formula is easy to apply (no need to fuss with primers or lip liners, even with bright/dark/strong colors) and very comfortable to wear. I don’t mind re-applying after I eat.

Giacomo stands out as a coral that stays coral on me, instead of turning straight orange. I love it.

Joaquin is a great easy-to-wear red for me; dark enough, and with lots of pink in it.

*Love* Stavros. Such a great and unusual color; grays and grayish taupes do for me what brown lipsticks do for most.

Love Theo. Very easy to apply and wear compared to other dark colors.

I like Michael; it’s a warm pink that does look good on me; but, frosted lipsticks are not really my favorite thing; this one gets worn less often, but, when I need a warm pink, it fills the role well.

Regretting skipping Kingston, even though I probably did so because of owning a dupe.

*Love* Pablo. A perfect bright pink on me.

*Love* Egon. Another unusual (cool, mauve-y, taupe-y) color, I’ve got nothing else like it; it’s lighter than what I usually like on myself, but it works.

I also really like Rocco, a bright pink with shimmer, in spite of its shimmer, because the shimmer is more comfortable than most.

I actually really like the size of these lipsticks, too. It’s rare that I use up a full tube of lipstick, and it’s rare that I’m willing to pay $50+ for a lipstick, so getting less and paying less works well for me, and I’ve had no trouble working with them — they apply easily and don’t break.
