Mine is from Sleek as well, a new addition: Storm is a wonderful mix of neutral and jewel-tone shimmery-frosty shades and a few mattes. I like it even more than Arabian Nights where I find the glittery shades a bit too prone to fallout.

All three have fantastic pigmentation, but they are pretty powdery, so be prepared for fallout. I like them all, but as a brights lover, Art Throb is my favorite. The pans are huge, too, so a lot of product for the money.

I only have two, but I love them both: Wet n’ Wild Comfort Zone and e.l.f. Prism Eyeshadow Palette in Naked. I find both palettes to have consistent quality across shadows, great pigmentation and lasting power, and of course, a great price!

Matte: Sleek, ultra matte V2 Darks.
Everything but matte: Revolution, Eyes Like Angels (intens colors, crazy finishes)

For me personally, I have almost always had very good results from Nyx’s eyeshadows. Very pigmented and smooth. They do come out with shades not usually seen at the DS level.
I’m also a fan of L’Oreal Infallible eyeshadow, too. But they can be a PITA because of that plug thingy.

Ok, so I definitely screwed up big-time on this! I actually thought I read “best drugstore eyeshadow you’ve tried”, missed the word “palette”! I DO have WnW Comfort Zone and Nxy I Dream Of Jamaica as two that I still enjoy using. But haven’t tried Sleek yet, but REALLY want to! Makeup Revolution, too!

WetnWild Comfort Zone is one of only two DS palettes in my collection. It deserves all the love it gets. The other is an Almay trio with a green I love.

I’ve never used a full palette from a drug store, but my first eye shadow purchase was the Cover Girl “Shimmering Sands” trio. Apparently it’s a low-key classic. They don’t advertise it, but it naturally appeals to women on-sight because it looks so pretty and easy to use. I remember being in 8th grade and seeing a lot of girls (myself included) using that trio.

I like Nyx’s singles but haven’t had good luck with their palettes. So I’ll say the Wet n Wild trios that came in so many nice neutrals — Walking on Eggshells, Sweet As Candy, etc.

My favorite Wet ‘n Wild trio is Silent Treatment as it runs neutral to cool. The purple-tinged taupe shade is the most beautiful, in both color and texture in any price range. The peachy-pink shade is a great eye-brightener, and the deep brown is very pigmented and makes a great liner. The glitter doesn’t show up so I can even use it on my brows. If it was in luxury packaging you would never know it was WnW. I spend a fortune on palettes, but I probably use this more frequently than any of my others!

Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 1! It’s a dupe for Lorac Pro palette. All shades are very nice and pigmented, the only exception is the black which still isn’t bad, it’s just not as pigmented!

As an eyeshadow palette junkie, I can’t choose just one. So here’s a top 10 in no particular order:

*Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Eyeshadow Set in Comfort Zone.
*e.l.f. Mad for Matte (best all-matte DS palette ever; great neutral palette).
*Sleek Bad Girl (best DS smokey palette). Any of Sleek’s are great, though.
*Makeup Revolution Salvation Palette in Give Them Nightmares. MR does great eyeshadow palettes in general.
*Sonia Kashuk Eye Couture Eye Palette – Eye On Neutral Shimmer 3.
*e.l.f. Prism Eyeshadow palettes.
*e.l.f. Baked Eyeshadow Palettes.
*Hard Candy Top Ten Palettes.
*City Color Cosmetics Spice Me Up.
*Wet n Wild Color Icon 5-Pan Palette in Smoke and Melrose (LE).

I wanted to try WnW Smoke & Melrose but I couldn’t find it. I was hoping it was a bit cooler than UD Naked 3.

Revlon cream eye shadow, Not Just Nudes, or something like that, sorry! Each of the colors alone are very nice and they look great blended. They have more pallets in the line, but this is my favorite. Wears well, lasts, great color and you can build.

Probably WnW Comfort Zone or Maybelline Caffeine Rush (I guess it qualifies as “a palette”; I don’t think it’s even around any more, sadly!) I do wish Sleek products were available here.

I love Sleek palettes and have a few including Sunset, Storm and Vintage Romance which are great. Wet
N Wild palettes are alao goid even though some recent ones not so much. Cover Girl even has one or two I like.

I have to agree on the Sleek Sunset palette – although it’s very hard to choose which one. I have about 6 Sleek palettes and I really love them all. Sunset and Vintage Romance seem like they are just a step up though – I’d honestly put them up against my Marc Jacobs palettes any day. Sunset looks really scary, but for the most part is it very wearable.

Having said that, my Sleek Au Nautral palette has a permanent home in my travel makeup bag. It’s compact, it has all the “utility” shades I need + some pops of color to make quite a few looks. And the mirror is actually pretty nice to have on the go to.

Yay, Sleek! I’m glad I’m not the only one here who really likes their palettes.

I’ve rarely had good luck with drugstore palettes. If Coastal Scents is in that category, their Winterberry palette is wonderful I just wish it had some mattes. NYX Butt Naked is neutral to cool, and the e/s are ok, but nothing like the quality of like UD. The WnW Color Icon 8 pan palette in Petal Pusher which is pinks and purples is pretty good, though it has some hits and misses.

The first Butt Naked palette is one of my all-time favorite palettes, in general! I haven’t bought many DS eyeshadows in *ages* (this is the one category I splurge on almost exclusively), but it’s definitely right up there with with my more expensive palettes. I haven’t used the cheek products, though, but the eyeshadows are in a shade range that is absolutely goof-proof on me, so I reach for it on days I don’t have energy and/or time to think, LOL! I do always wear a base/primer, so that may help with the wear/pigmentation.

I got the NYX Butt Naked palette due to the abundance of cool neutrals, and the great reviews. I don’t always wear a base/primer, like Christine, my litmus test for shadows is applying them on bare lids. I’ll take your advice and give it a try with a base/primer. If that works well, that palette will get more love, and I’ll try the lower tier of face products too.

I’m a palette junkie, but most palettes are overwhelmingly warm. My HG neutral palettes are UD Naked Basics 1 (love & use every shade except Foxy) & Too Faced Naked Eye. It’s a shame they discontinued that one, I had always hoped they would bring in back in the newer, more compact packaging. I got the Boudoir Eyes when it came out since they shared some of the same colors, but I don’t like it quite as well.

Thanks for your input Amy. 🙂

Wet N Wild Icon Eyeshadow Collection in Petal Pusher! It is my only DS palette and I love it. When I was starting out I loved anything from the drugstore. It was a treat to go and buy! I hear many good things about location exclusive brands that I’d be willing to try! I received an ELF palette as a free gift. I was impressed though I would not buy it. I have also enjoyed products from Physician’s Formula but I don’t remember what they were called. It brightened eyes and stayed on well. I re-bought a handful of times. I’d like to try more NYX items. I do like some Pixi palettes I tried in the past. Are they drugstore? Hard Candy duo palettes added to what rocked my world in the 90s. And the Covergirl quad that has a cream, two neutrals and a bronzey color was my first. I think they still sell it!
