We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Look you loved this week?: Since I only wore makeup one day this week, that look wins by default and normally wouldn’t have made my top 100 !! I started with a light application of Guerlain Abeille Royale Watery Oil to give me a little glow then did some under eye correcting with Estee Lauder colour corrector. I then used the Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra foundation and followed that with Estee Lauder concealer. I powdered just under my eyes. I used two blushes, Fenty Strawberry Drip and Laura Mercier Strawberry. For my eyes I used the Huda Pastel Obsessions 9 pan palette and it performed just as poorly as it swatched and reviewed. For my brows I used MAC Fling and Buxom Waterproof Macara. For the lips, I lined with MAC Talking Points and Huda Bachelorette lipstick. I used my Guerlian Meteorites in Claire to finish and sprayed with MAC Fix Plus.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I am really enjoying the Estee Lauder Futurist Foundation and the Fenty blush. I will likely pick up a couple more shades of the blush. They were a little more pigmented than I believed based on product description and how they were reviewed here and on YT. When I first starting tapping it on I freaked a little because I had this bright pink/mauve on my cheeks but it did tap out nicely and blended without leaving any line of demarcation. They do look really natural once blended out. I don’t use a lot of cream blushes but these are quite nice.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Not particularly. I haven’t been planning more than a couple of days ahead!!

-Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral with slight olive u/t
-Look you loved this week?: Not wearing makeup much, but I did do a look today as I was in my makeup room loading up on sunscreen for my face and decided to have play time. I combined KVD Lolitta palette with a shade from PMG Ritualistic Rose quad, Astral Rose Orchid, with that beautiful coral shade from ABH Sultry palette, Bloom.
-Any new or old favorites discovered?: Using some of the shades from ABH Sultry. I didn’t like the palette at first, but there are a handful of shades I really like to use as singles to flesh out other palettes.
-Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Just continuing my low buy and giving love to products I haven’t used in some time to appreciate them a little more.

OT: anyone else thinking new Mothership Rose II palette looks a lot like Mothership Rose 1 meets Ritualistic Rose quad. I caught a promo email today and since I had just had Ritualistic Rose out…

Look you loved this week?: A smokey eye look I did for a “use your oldest palette” challenge. EYES — TFSI. Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette: White Chocolate (entire lid from lash line to brows, lower lid), Salted Caramel (lash line to crease, lower lid), Semi Sweet (lid and deep crease, and brows, lower lashline), Cherry Cordial (foiled on lid), and Champagne Truffle (inner corner). A black KVD eyeliner pencil smuged out on the top and bottom lashlines with Triple Fudge from the palette. The same black pencil on the upper and lower waterlines. Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. LIPS — Wayne Goss Luxury Cream Lipstick in Zinnia, lined with his Essential Lip Pencil in Natural Berry. CHEEKS — Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Savored. FACE: Shop AOA A+ No Pore Face Primer; Milani Conceal + Perfect Foundation Stick in Porcelain, e.l.f. HD Powder in Sheer, L.A. Girl Just Blushing Blush in Just Because (as contour), Champagne Truffle from the eye palette (as highlighter), and DIY setting spray.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Wayne Goss Luxury Cream Lipstick in Zinnia. Truly, one of the most flattering lipsticks I’ve ever worn. I had high hopes it was the kind of shade I was looking for, and I wasn’t disappointed. I think it’s more warm plum than than berry, as it’s described, but the perfect balance of red and pink is dead on. The formula is the perfect amount of creamy yet is long-lasting. I’m very happy with the lipsticks and liners I bought from his collection. I haven’t worn the glosses yet, but they sure look pretty swatched on my hand. lol They aren’t overly thick or gooey, and the mint scent is natural and very light, so I think I’ll enjoy them.

Also, Nothing Personal from the NABLA Metropolitan Palette is gorgeous as a blush. It goes on the cheeks so much more easily than on the eyes. I don’t think I’ll use the palette as a stand alone very often. I’ll bring in a crease shade from a single or another palette and use Nothing Personal as a blush rather than the crease shade.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I got my issues with the NABLA Metropolitan Palette figured out, so I want to try my other NABLA cutie palettes and see how they do. UDPP was too dry for Metropolitan’s mattes, and they performed much better over TFSI. Also, using denser brushes and buffing, rather than trying to blend with a fluffy brush, worked wonders for Nothing Personal.

The Midas Cosmetics Smokey Glow palette arrived yesterday, and I can’t wait to dig into those gorgeous purples and pinks.

Thank you for the description of the Wayne Goss lipstick, it sounds lovely and I bet it looks really pretty on you with your coloring.

Look you loved this week?: I did a pretty look on Friday using the ColourPop single in Glass Bull, which I haven’t used in forever, along with my ND Mini Lila palette. It turned out really lovely! Here’s a link if you want to see: https://www.instagram.com/p/CAfak3QhtCN/?igshid=1377z9qzizjjv

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I mixed my Paula’s Choice Super Light Daily Wrinkle Defense Sunscreen with my Missha M BB Cream and it was magic! I really like the more matte, perfecting finish if the sunscreen and it helps balance out the sometimes overly glowy finish of the bb cream.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Glass Bull with my ND metropolis palette would be something fun to try!

Look you loved this week?: There are a couple I have done this week, now that I am out and about visiting friends and family. One favourite eye look involved a soft gold shade from Pixi beauty reflex light palette and the olive tones of Tisse D’Automne -paired with CP’s Foolish and another was using Mecca Max’s plum shade, with a soft cream/gold background, with Verve from UD Naked 2. I paired that with MAC’s Marrakesh lipstick.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Not really – since I have done the ‘palette a day’ I have become more aware of what I have and with the lovely combination colour stories you regularly publish Christine, it inspires me to use shades from different palettes in more unique (for me) combinations.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: No particular plans, I will just see where my fancy takes me!

Look you loved this week?: I actually wore very little makeup this week so no real look to speak of unless “au Naturel” counts, lol.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I received a few online orders this week so looking forward to playing with them soon. One I can’t believe I haven’t purchased before – Stila Convertible Color in the shade Peony.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Will test out new sunscreen I received, Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen and the Stila Convertible Color.

Look you loved this week?: I felt really pretty in my grocery shopping look. UD Fireball and Sugarpill SWAK on the lids with MAC White Pigment on the inner corners and a veeeery tiny black wing from the outer third. It was really cute and luminous. A little Becca Opal x Jade highlighter, Brow Wiz on brows, and a face mask covering everything else.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I finally got my repurchase of Stila Micro Tip eyeliner and it totally reaffirmed my belief that nothing else is anywhere near as good. I wish something else was comparable, because I would rather not support Stila after the White Lies mess but honestly it’s no contest. Best formula and thinnest tip available by a landslide.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Maybe I’ll bust out MAC Icon with Stone pencil.

Your skin tone/coloring: Fenty Pro Filt’r 110, Urban Decay All Nighter 2.5, NARS Natural Radiant Longwear 2.0 Mont Blanc, Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist Light EF 02, L’Oreal True Match C3 Creamy Natural), gray eyes, brown hair with red highlights and scattered blonde/blue strands. My everyday base products are Fenty-Amber Match Stick as cheek contour and Pro Filt’r concealer and Soft Matte foundation in 110.
Look you loved this week?: Last Saturday’s beauty book of the day (I have 19 makeup books and have been rotating through them for my daily looks) was Linda Mason’s Teen Makeup. After applying my usual base products I replicated a look from the section focusing on classic looks, with a neutral eye and a somewhat bold lip. I used Sydney Grace Juliet eyeshadow (from Enduring Love-Deep) on my lids from lashline to browbone, added KVD Adele (from the 10-Year Anniversary palette) on the outer corner from lashline to crease, and finished off the eye with ColourPop BFF Plum and Get It mascara. I mixed 2 Tarte blushes, Unstoppable and Dollface, for a peachy pink that would tone with the eye and lip without overpowering either one or washing me out. I finished the look off with my newly bought Marc Jacobs Enamored Rebel Rebel lip gloss.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Marc Jacobs Enamored lip glosses-I currently have Ch-ch-Changes, Not Sorry, Love Buzz, and Rebel Rebel-continue to be favorites of mine!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m planning to start using Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Liv It Up this week.

Look loved this week:
All over soft pink face with Fenty Petal Poppin’ cream blush and a dusting of pink (linen and ballet from the Sephora Pro Cool palette) along with Peach Punch from the Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes palette.

New or old favorites discovered:
I received an order I placed with Sephora during the Spring sale–I forgot about it it’s been so long, and inside was YSL Tatouage Liquid Matte Lip Stain in Nu Interdit. I have one other colour in Tatouage and I really love the formula, it does stain but is not drying. It’s pricey but I got them both on sale.

Product hoping to use next week:
Well, we just got an 11-week-old female puppy to add to the household two days ago. She’s the same rare breed (Xoloitzcuintli) as our 3-year-old boy, so if I can get any makeup on at all it will be a miracle, LOL. I’m just hoping to be able to get quick showers and get some my skin care regimen done.

Look you loved this week?: can’t really think of one
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Marc Jacobs Brav!O eyeshadow. It’s not all that old but I put it on this morning and was struck, yet again, by how lovely it looks with my dark brown eyes.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Nars Kalahari duo. It’s one of the eyeshadows I’ve come closest to hitting pan on (well, the left hand side, anyway) and as Sephora no longer carries it (and I think it was reformulated a few years back, in any case), I despair of finishing it but always love using it. Also, MAC Full Fuchsia lipstick – any time I put that baby on, my face and whole “aura” seem to brighten up.

Look you loved this week?: For my birthday dinner/husband’s b-day dinner with family, I did a fun look with the aqua LA Girl Shockwave liner taking center stage (including a big wing!) with PMG VR Fire Opal on the inner corners. I am going to continue fighting against the “people over XX age shouldn’t wear gitter” or whatever other asinine things that people say, because I just turned 36, and I am just as into glitter and shine as I have ever been.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Not a total rediscovery, but I did re-appreciate how NYX Total Control foundation works in warmer weather on my skin. I also re-discovered, to my chagrin, Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream. Ulta needs to have a big sale on THAT soon, because the price definitely makes me cringe in spite of how amazing the cream is for me.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: My cousin got me the neon green liner from the recent UD neon collection, so I wanna do a fun look with that, and maybe pair it with the Juvia’s Place palettes I got last month.
