Ah, I really wish Berlin Girl Glow had been released in the UK! I don’t suppose there’s any hope they’ll bring it back as a permanent release?
With Becca, you never know! Their permanent highlighter range is pretty extensive, though.
I want it, too, but it’s out everywhere, at least as a single. Does not help to be in the US for that one!
I just ordered and received Berlin Girl directly from Becca last week when they were having a sale on all products. I want to say it was 25% off. I just looked and it’s still available but not on sale.

What didn’t impress you?
I don’t think I have tried anything new that I don’t like. Maybe the Bare Minerals Prime Time Primer bc it’s too silconey and I’m not a huge fan of primers. It came with the Bare Minerals kit I tried. Love the matte foundation but yeah not a fan of that primer
Did you return anything you purchase?
No. There are not too many things I return but I also don’t try everything under the sun like many so…
Or successfully resist temptation?
I’ve resisted much of the holiday w the exception of ABH Sultry and TF Gingerbread Man Liquid Lip!
What were your favorites from the last month? ABH Sultry palette, a Clinique e/s duo and the 2 Dior shadows I purchased
What didn’t impress you? a Murad facial cleanser I sampled (it smelled so off-putting that I couldn’t use it beyond the first time)
Did you return anything you purchase? not me, though I am still a bit tempted with UD Love Drunk lipstick (but I doubt I will actually return it)
Or successfully resist temptation? The Dior rep got hold of me and I was really starting to think that I needed to switch all my skin care, or most of it, to Dior’s Dreamskin and Capture Totale products – a VERY pricey proposition indeed. Then I got home and looked for reviews of all the products I was considering and realized they were nothing exceptional!
What were your favorites from the last month?
Dior ruled in October—Diorskin Nude Luminizer in Pink Glow, Dior Brow Styler 04, Diorshow Backstage Cool Palette, and I wore Dior Hypnotic Poison to the Halloween Party I went to last weekend. (Scent-wise, my two October favorites for the office were Origins Ginger Essence and Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic.)
What didn’t impress you?
ABH Moonchild Glow Kit. The sparkles are a bit too chunky and it fades from my cheekbones too fast, even with setting spray. I was warned by the Macy’s SA when I bought it, but I didn’t listen. It’s not bad, and I still use it, but it’s certainly no Dior!!!!

Or successfully resist temptation?
Yes, ABH Sultry Palette, and I intend to keep resisting it. This one has been a struggle, but I honestly don’t need it and I already have so many palettes that I don’t use enough.
I wasn’t so lucky. ABH got me w Sultry. I’m don’t have many neutral palettes that are popular like the ones from Lorac or Urban Decay so it’s worth it for me. But I can see why it’s not necessary for some but the shimmers though…
Even though it did not do well here, and i’ve not seen it IRL, I think the Dior backstage cool would be my ideal nude palette. Either today for round 2 of the sale, or next year. Lots of the shades in that are my fave CPSSS. Going to reread the reviews and decide. Don’t ask why I’m putting this here, but the Mufe artist pencil that is more gray is the cacao, not the taupe, at least to this am’s swatching, unless there was a goof. It would go with that palette, i’m sure.
Favorites of October:
Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy highlighter (I’ve had it since summer but am just now discovering how beautiful it is!)
Sonia G Sculpt One and Sculpt Two (I didn’t list these in my October hauls because I wanted to make sure I liked them–I do! They are two of the best brushes I’ve ever purchased.)
Bite Beauty Libra lipstick. (A pretty brown that does not lean grey or red/orange.)
Not impressed: I do not like Charlotte Tilbury’s new Genius Magic loose setting powder. It smells bad and my skin gets shiny in an unflattering way shortly after I apply it.
Return: I will be returning the Charlotte Tilbury powder.
Resisted temptation: I was really interested in Dior’s holiday collection but I am trying to be careful about my purchases.

Definitely the Anastasia Sultry palette. And those ColourPop Brown Sugar lipsticks in Brick, Cinnamon and Chocolatier. I ordered them as soon as I saw them.

Nothing I bought didn’t impress me.

No I didn’t – I watched the Beautylish website like a teenager and swooped as soon as it was available. Ditto for the ColourPop lippies.
