Too Faced Pretty Little Planner Eyeshadow Palette Review, Photos, Swatches
Pretty Little Planner
Too Faced Pretty Little Planner Holiday 2017 Palette ($42.00 for 0.62 oz.) is a limited edition, Ulta-exclusive set that contains 15 eyeshadows, an agenda (and sticker sheet), zippered agenda cover, and a deluxe-size Better Than Sex Mascara. Sometimes, there are holiday sets and palettes that just somehow fall through the cracks and end up at the bottom of the stack… this was one of those times. This was a so-so palette that wasn’t the worst I’ve seen from Too Faced but isn’t particularly good, either. I thought it was cute, though, and the included planner was usable and seemed to be of decent to good quality.

Silent night was quite pretty! I’ll have to look into a dupe.
I’m stunned. Seriously. Mine is one of the best Too Faced palettes I’ve ever bought. Wow – wonder what happened?!
Not even shocked at this point…
Thanks for the review! Are all Too Faced palletes made in China or just these Holiday ones?
Sorry, that’s not something I keep memorized – Too Faced has a lot of palettes!
No, Don’t be Sorry! It ia Just something I was wondering ?
Looks like the Too Faced Holiday Palette gremlin struck again. I do think some of these shades are beautiful and I really like the pastel eye look you created but I don’t think there is anything to tempt me here. Sorry Too Faced. I did pick up the Matte Peach palette as gifts and only because it did get decent reviews, otherwise, I have no plans to purchase from Too Faced until quality control issues and cutesy packaging has resolved. I do think this planner idea was a good one, though.
I’m surprised. I had heard this one was pretty good. Oh, well, it wasn’t colors I needed anyway.
There are a couple of lovely shades here: Silent Night and Break the Ice. But this is a very average palette in more than a couple of ways.
First of all, the quality is distinctly sup par across the board – something that beauty lovers have come to expect from Too Faced in recent years
Secondly, the shades chosen for this palette are readily available in the majority of palettes already owned.
Thirdly, some of the shades are copied (the two golds/coppers; the pale vanilla shades, the pinks etc) and therefor are redundant.
And last of all, the way the shades are grouped together is quite random.
Thank you for the review Christine, once again it has saved us all from spending our money unwisely.
Everything Genevieve wisely said!
After they put out that larger “Planner” Palette and a few other decent ones, TF took several leaps backwards, it seems. Well, if nothing else, I will have to find an even better dupe for Break The Ice than my existing UD Shattered and Freeze!
Suitable for day look and night look too. One for all. A good product indeed.
