After Midnight is a medium-dark pink with subtle, warm undertones and flecks of warmer, gold micro-sparkle over a matte finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation with a moderately powdery texture, so there was a fair amount of fallout working with it--even when being careful to tap off excess--and a tendency to sheer out. It showed signs of fading after seven and a half hours of wear.
