Astrolabe is a medium, warmer brown with flecks of gold sparkle over a matte finish. The sparkle resulted in some fallout but little impact on the lid as they didn't bind with the matte base. The texture was soft, thin, and somewhat powdery. The eyeshadow had opaque pigmentation that stayed on well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.
