Vibin'
Tarte Tarteist Vibin’ Quick Dry Matte Lip Paints ($20.00 for 0.20 fl. oz.) is a deep red with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. I was surprised that it wasn’t more pigmented–only semi-opaque–given that it was a darker red. The consistency was lightweight, smooth, and thin without feeling watery. It applied evenly on the lips, but my natural lip color was still able to come through (if your lip color is darker or more vibrant naturally, this might look different, particularly in the undertone). It wore well for five and a half hours and was drying after three hours of wear.
The Quick Dry formula is supposed to have “full coverage” with a “transfer-proof” finish that won’t crack, dry your lips out, or feather. After trying several shades in the formula, there is a lot of inconsistency across shades. Some are nice, some are terrible; some absolutely “crack” and others have a soft matte finish that is transfer-proof without making lips look drier. The formula is, overall, lightly to moderately drying on me, though the wear is longer at five to seven hours and most shades had good pigmentation.

Fortune
Tarte Fortune Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paints ($20.00 for 0.20 fl. oz.) is a muted, medium-dark brown with warm, caramel undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was smooth, lightweight, and spreadable, but it dried down to a clingier finish and feel, which highlighted the texture of my lips noticeably (though my lips did not look “cracked” upon smiling). It had semi-opaque color payoff that did apply evenly. It lasted for five hours and was moderately drying.

Wannabe
Tarte Wannabe Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paints ($20.00 for 0.20 fl. oz.) is a deep brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had good color payoff, though it was not full coverage. The texture was smooth, thin without being problematic, and easy to spread across the lips for even coverage. The lipstick lasted for five hours on me and started to feel drying after three hours of wear.

I like Fortune a lot.
Yay!
These look like pretty nice shades! I won’t be buying though, I have a lot of products that are similar to all of these shades.
Ohh, I surprisingly like Fortune!
This range looks pretty good thus far and as I’m slowly getting into the world of liquid lipsticks, this will be a good range to start growing my collection wtih!
Some are good, some have missed, but I think one’s tolerance for the misses will depend on what you are willing to overlook for a totally matte lip!
Like the colors, that’s probably why I have dupes for each one, but glad these got good scores for those interested.
With great dupes for the first 2 in MAC VG I and Strip Me Down, I am glad I do!
However, the one I am drawn to is Wannabe. What a lovely brownish shade that is! As for the formula on these and similar such; I am about to conduct an experiment. Having read of people successfully adding a few drops of coconut oil to these dry-down lippys and getting them to be far less drying, I am going to do this with a Colourpop Ultra Matte that I received for free and see whether or not it works. If it does, well then! It’ll be: Hello Wannabe!
They look great on you but I’d pass for my coloring.
