#8 (Vol. 1) is a muted, medium-dark brown with subtly warm, rosy undertones and a semi-matte finish. The pigmentation was fantastic, as it yielded full color coverage that was even and smooth with little work. The lipstick felt lightly creamy going on, so it was easy to spread across the lips and fairly comfortable to wear. This shade wore nicely for five hours and was slightly drying.
