Bittersweet is a deep, reddish brown with soft, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was smooth, fluid without being watery or too thin, and easy to spread across the lips for even coverage. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer and a moderately long dry down. I felt like it dried down for the most part within 15-30 seconds but the edges took a bit longer (2-3 minutes). The color stayed on well for over six hours and was slightly drying.
