Kat Von D Crucifix Everlasting Liquid Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.22 fl. oz.) is muted, dark burgundy brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had medium, buildable coverage (two to three layers for opaque coverage) that went on somewhat evenly. I expected more out of this shade, as Kat Von D's formula is usually good, but this shade could have applied better and lasted longer. It only wore well for six hours before fading too quickly from the center of the mouth (and normally, shades this dark run closer to eight hours of good wear). The formula was neither drying nor hydrating.
