Dreamy II
NABLA Cosmetics Dreamy II Eyeshadow Palette ($35.00 for 0.39 oz.) includes 12 eyeshadows across an assortment of finishes–this brand might have the most finishes I’ve ever seen!–with two glitters, two sparkling mattes, three mattes, and five shimmers. Most shades were pigmented and longer-wearing, but some had light fallout during application and/or while worn.
Note: REM and Libertine both contain plastic glitter, and, in the US, it typically would come with a warning (though there are US brands who have released products with plastic glitter, such as NARS and Urban Decay, that do not come with warnings!). In this case, there doesn’t appear to be a warning, but if you really read through the ingredient list, it actually lists the shade name followed by either (Eye) or (Face), and the shades REM, New Past, Mirabilia, Dionysus, and Offline are all listed for “Face,” yet Libertine was listed for Eye.

Pantheon is a soft, yellowed beige with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that did not build up well, which was likely due to the more powdery texture. While it had a silky, finely-milled feel to it, the powderiness resulted in light fallout during application. It lasted decently for seven and a half hours on me before fading visibly.

REM
REM is a medium purple with subtle, cooler undertones and cooler lavender and purple glitter throughout. It contained plastic glitter particles, though they were finer than the average pressed glitter these days, and there was some pigment from a base color, too. It had sheerer coverage and had to really be backed on or applied with a dampened brush to get to fuller coverage. It could have been more blendable and easier to pick up with a brush. There was some fallout during application as well as over the eight hours it wore decently for.

New Past
New Past is a muted, medium-dark red-brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was lightly powdery, so I had to be careful to tap off excess prior to applying to ensure little to no fallout during application. It had nearly opaque color coverage that built up to full coverage with less than half of a layer on top. The color went on evenly and blended out without issue. It wore nicely for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview

The brand has a few different powder eyeshadow formulations, and because they don't just differ in finish but in price, they're listed as individual formulas on Temptalia, but for ease, I wanted to keep the same overview available so it's easy to get a big picture overview of their powder eyeshadows generally!
Super Matte Eyeshadows are "highly pigmented, completely opaque" with a "full, velvety" finish. The Super Mattes have a more finely-milled, velvety, and more substantial texture compared to the brand's Soft Matte eyeshadows, and I also found that they were much more pigmented than the Soft Mattes, too. There was more fallout during application if I wasn't careful due to the Super Matte shades being so pigmented, though. If one prefers building up coverage, the Soft Mattes would be more suitable. The eyeshadows in this finish tended to wear seven to eight hours on me.
Top Coat Wet & Dry Eyeshadows are supposed to give a "wet effect" and can be used wet or dry but are suggested to be used by "dabbing them on with your fingers" or "trying it wet." I found that these varied--some were really soft, blendable, and extremely pigmented with more fleck-like sparkle and others were drier and firmer with a thinner texture that was stiffer to work with. Most of them did apply best with fingertips or with a dampened brush over a dry brush. This finish is more interesting than the others, but I'd pay attention to the specific shades as there was some inconsistency. The wear time ranged from six to eight hours and slight to moderate fallout.
Satin Eyeshadows are supposed to have a "gentle sheen" with "the finest pearls" that will have "excellent adhesion" and be "long-lasting." They can also be applied wet or dry, and some shades did apply more smoothly or had better pigmentation when applied with a dampened brush, but the majority were easy to work with dry. The texture was smooth, firm but not too dense, and most shades blended out easily as the formula wasn't stiff to work with. Most shades lasted seven to eight hours.
Soft Matte Eyeshadows are supposed to give a "soft and delicate" effect while blending "easily." While the brand mentions "soft and delicate," the swatches they provided of the shades in this finish were showing opaque coverage in one layer, so the expectation would be for true, full color coverage, but a lot of the shades in the finish seemed more muted (which could be interpreted as "soft and delciate"). My experience was that the pigmentation ranged from medium to opaque but most shades were buildable, and I felt like buildable, matte eyeshadows are much needed and quite versatile--there's a huge difference in a poorly pigmented eyeshadow and one that can be pigmented, just requiring two layers--the latter gives one a lot of control over how it can appear in a look. The shades in this finish seemed to fade a little faster on me with six to seven hour wear on average.
Pearl Eyeshadows are supposed to "apply evenly, blend well" with "excellent skin adhesion" and "long-lasting" wear with high pigmentation. These are your m re typical shimmery, powdery eyeshadow formula with light creaminess, moderately dense textures, and are usually quite easy to blend out. Most of the shades had semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that lasted between seven and eight hours on me. Some shades were very metallic and others were a soft frost.

Oniric is a deep gold with moderate, warm undertones and a sparkling finish. It had rich color coverage in a single layer, while the texture was soft, slightly drier so there was some excess kicked up in the pan, but it remained blendable and easy to work with. Libertine is a bright, medium-dark gold with soft, warm undertones and a glittering, metallic finish. This shade has plastic glitter particles, though they seemed slightly larger than what would likely be categorized as sparkle, and there was a lot of base pigment/color so it wasn’t just glitter. The product felt slightly textured from all of the glitter in it, but it was fairly smooth, and it had opaque coverage that adhered with minimal fallout during application. It lasted well for eight and a half hours but had light fallout over time.

Lucid Dream
Lucid Dream is a pale, white gold with a sparkling finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage with a slightly dense, more emollient texture that picked up best with a flat, synthetic brush or a fingertip, which seemed to do a better job at pressing the product onto the lid for more even coverage. There was a touch of fallout when I blended out this shade. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

The texture was like a cream-powder hybrid–emollient, smooth, but a little thin and flexible compared to a traditional powder eyeshadow. Dionysus
Dionysus is a muted, darker plum with subtle, warm undertones and flecks of sparkle over a more matte finish. The formula is very dense, more cream-powder like in feel, but it didn’t squish down like a true cream formula might have done. I find the finish has an odd feel to it initially, but it actually picked up fairly well with a brush.
I noticed that it went on sort of in small bits and grains but ended up blending out seamlessly with minor fallout. The upside was that creaminess helped it sit better on my skin, and it seemed to help the flecks bind with the base color so that they didn’t just disappear during blending. It wore well for eight and a half hours and had a smidgen of fallout over time.

Deja Vu is a light brown with warmer undertones and a matte finish. It had a smooth, velvety consistency that was soft without being too powdery nor too firmly pressed into the pan. Hidden Place
Hidden Place is a medium-dark, plummy taupe with subtle, warm undertones and cooler purple, magenta, and peach sparkle that shifted from plum to gold to olive. The texture was soft, dense without being heavy or thick, and lightly creamy, so it adhered well to my lid and maintained its full coverage. It lasted nicely for eight and a half hours before creasing slightly.

Offline
Offline is a deep plum with subtle, cool undertones and flecks of sparkle over a matte finish. It had rich color coverage, though it appeared several shades lighter than it did in the pan, which wasn’t a real surprise given how cream-like the texture felt. The product had a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was denser and more firmly-pressed into the pan (so use a moderate to heavy hand to pick up product initially).
The color blended out well, though it initially went on a bit patchily in such a manner as to notice how the formula almost balled up but then diffused and melted onto my skin as it was buffed and blended out. It wore well for eight and a half hours before showing signs of fading, but it had a little bit of fallout over time.

Such a stunning palette! Of course, I’m not thrilled by the inclusion of 2 PET glitter shades, but I relieved that the particles don’t have that scary rough look to them, nor do they appear large, either. Nothing glitter glue and very careful removal of at night couldn’t handle. It’s a *maybe*.
shame about the plastic glitters because this palette has a nice take on a color story in which the cool and warm tones seem really compatible!
It is a pretty palette, but the inclusion of the glitter numbers is off putting and there are not enough shades in the palette that I would use. Beautiful eye look Christine.

Wow, this to me is a really good example of the sort of thing I wish more cosmetics companies would do instead of churning out the same old. Also really surprised how different they look swatched than in the pan. The price is also not outrageous.
