Dose of Colors Heart of Gold Block Party Eyeshadow ($20.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a deep, medium-dark gold with warm, brown undertones and flecks of gold sparkle. The eyeshadow had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, when applied with fingertips, and semi-opaque, buildable coverage when I used a brush (alternatively, I tried it with dampened brushes and that didn't seem to be problematic and improved adhesion/intensity in a single layer). The texture was slightly dry to the touch with a denser, chunkier feel in the pan, so there was some fallout when initially applied. I was surprised that it only had minimal fallout over the eight hours it lasted for.
