Venetian Red is a medium-dark red with subtle, warmer undertones and a mostly matte finish. This one was the driest shade in the palette, though it wasn't firm or stiff in the pan, but it kicked up excess product and tended to have a subtle grittiness to it (this does seem to be present in a lot of red shades, particularly when they're more matte). It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that blended out nicely (that was a surprise!). The color started to fade after seven and a half hours.
