Urban Decay Weirwood Leaves is a moderately warm-toned, medium-dark plum with a pearl finish. It is a limited edition eyeshadow that retails for $19.00 and contains 0.05 oz.

Editor's Review

Weirwood Leaves is a medium-dark plum with subtle, warm undertones and a pearl finish. The color payoff was opaque in a single layer, and the color went on evenly and smoothly without sheering out too readily. The texture was smooth to the touch, slightly firmer but not to the point where it became stiff to work with. It lasted nicely for eight hours on my eye before fading.

Claims / Ingredients

Urban Decay’s groundbreaking new eye shadow formula. This reformulation of Urban Decay’s eye shadow features even softer, amazingly velvety texture; richer, more dense and decadent color; smoother, more uniform pigment distribution and blendability; and longer-lasting, more crease-free wear. The new line of shadows features a completely revamped assortment of shades, new textures, and a totally redesigned token compact. The secret to the new formula is Urban Decay’s Pigment Infusion System™, a vehicle for color that holds tightly to pigment and gives the formula its glide. The proprietory blend of ingredients allows color to weave itself through the formula resulting in insane color payout, color that stays on your lids, and sparkle that doesn’t fall. The amazing technology works for every shade and finish. Every Urban Decay shade is silky, blendable, and stays put.

I tend to shy away from red-toned eyeshadows because some reds and pinks look awful - unnatural and like I'm having a severe allergic reaction - but this one is a beauty. The shadow itself has a wonderful texture - so smooth and so blendable - and pigmentation is fantastic. I still feel a bit self-conscious wearing this shade but that's just me trying to get used to something a bit different. It's a lovely shadow especially for the fall months.

I love this deep burgundy on my green eyes! Silky smooth texture too.
