Editor's Review

Phoenix (113CM) is a soft, medium-dark reddish berry with subtle, neutral-to-warm undertones and a satin finish. This wasn't quite as shimmery as Gemma, but it wasn't as matte as the other shades in the palette either. It was much sheerer, too, and I had a lot of trouble layering and blending this shade in practice. I kept building it up, and it kept going nowhere. The first time I tried to use this, I removed everything and started anew, as it looked utterly disastrous (and it never did look great). It started to fade after six hours of wear. MAC More Amour (DC, $21.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). ColourPop Get Out (P, $4.50) is darker (95% similar). Huda Beauty Mauve #6 (PiP, ) is lighter (90% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty O Mercy (P, $29.00) is darker (90% similar). Viseart Louvre (PiP, ) is darker (90% similar). Fenty Beauty Saffron (PiP, ) is brighter (90% similar). NABLA Cosmetics Fahrenheit (P, $8.00) is cooler (90% similar). Chanel Candeur et Seduction #3 (PiP, ) is less shimmery, cooler (90% similar). ColourPop 500 (LE, $4.50) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). NABLA Cosmetics Dionysus (PiP, ) is more shimmery, darker (90% similar). Dior Devilish #4 (LE, ) is cooler (90% similar). Anastasia Venetian Red (PiP, $12.00) is darker (85% similar). Anastasia C4 (Norvina Vol. 3) (LE, ) is less shimmery, darker (85% similar). Charlotte Tilbury Icon Day Eyes #3 (LE, ) is darker (85% similar). Sydney Grace Princess (P, $5.25) is less shimmery, warmer (85% similar). ColourPop Stay Golden (P, $4.50) is darker, brighter (85% similar). ColourPop Missbehave (LE, $4.50) is less shimmery, darker, warmer (85% similar). Viseart Brick (Warm Mattes #12) (P, ) is darker, warmer (85% similar). ColourPop Hunger (LE, $6.00) is darker, brighter (80% similar).
