ColourPop Gettin' Fresh Palette Review & Swatches
Gettin' Fresh
ColourPop Getting’ Fresh 30-Pan Shadow Palette ($34.00 for 0.92 oz.) is the brand’s newest mega-sized palette featuring 30 shades of shimmers and mattes. There are multiple pops of green throughout, but there were a lot of overlapping shades within this palette, so you really have to love these shades to appreciate the subtle nuances. This could have been an interesting nine or 12-pan palette, but at 30, it could use more contrast and variety.
Gettin' Fresh
LELimited Edition. $35.00.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing." The way the Pressed Pigments differ is that they're not intended for usage on the immediate eye area.
The majority of the shades are semi-opaque to opaque in coverage, blend out fairly well, and can sometimes be a bit drier/more powdery compared to typical matte shades. They often wear eight to nine hours on me before fading, but many shades in the Pressed Pigment family leave some staining behind.

This colour collection is totally NOT for me but it sure does live up to the name Gettin’ Fresh! What a very fresh and airy vibe!
Very good quality and a great value, but it’s just too big for me to store it! Mega palettes drive me nuts because they often have a color story that I genuinely DO love, but they don’t work out so well for someone who self-admittedly owns far too much eyeshadow to begin with, and a 584 sq. ft. space to live in.
What a mammoth palette to review! Christine, you have done a sterling effort here on the huge palette.
I agree with you – so many duplicate shades of orange, peach and pinky tones. The green shades were refreshing to see here.
Generally it is a good quality palette and the shades I liked were: Genuine, 2 AM Call, Kick Back, OK Wow – in other words the metallic golds and bronze shades that CP does so well.
OK, it’s settled. I want a (mega?) palette of Goosebumps and ALL the duplicate shades available in the world! Every time I see that color I get… well, goosebumps.
A lot of overlap here indeed. I could consider buying a 12 pan palette with this color story, but not this mammoth.
