Charlotte Tilbury Gorgeous Glowing Beauty Instant Look in a Palette ($75.00 for 0.77 oz.) is a new, limited edition palette that includes three eyeshadows, two cheek colors, one bronzer, and one highlighter.
Most of the shades were soft, blendable, and long-wearing with semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation. The bronzer would have been more blendable, which was the worst “con” of the palette; all four cheek products were quite pigmented but those formulas are marketed as buildable, so they were rated lower accordingly.
Worth noting, the two blush shades are smaller pans–the size of a typical eyeshadow pan–and so they are harder to apply with medium and large-sized blush brushes.

Gorgeous Glowing Beauty #1 is a soft, rosy peach with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had nearly opaque pigmentation with a soft, blendable texture that felt lightly creamy in the pan. The eyeshadow applied evenly and blended out without difficulty. It lasted well for seven and a half hours on me before fading visibly.

Gorgeous Glowing Beauty #2 is a muted, medium brown with soft, warm undertones anda a pearly sheen. The texture felt smooth to the touch, so there was no powderiness, but it wasn’t too firmly pressed in the pan, which made it easy to pick up with a brush. It applied evenly and had opaque coverage that could be blended along the edges without losing its intensity. This shade stayed on nicely for seven and a half hours before I noticed fading.

Gorgeous Glowing Beauty #4 is a medium, orange-leaning brown with barely-there gold micro-sparkle over a more semi-matte finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, despite the formula marketed as having more buildable coverage.
The texture was soft in the pan without being too powdery, but it didn’t blend out as effortlessly as I expected; it wasn’t overly challenging to blend out but noticeably more effort was necessary compared to other shades I’ve tried in this formula. It lasted nicely for eight hours on me before fading a bit.

Gorgeous Glowing Beauty #5 is a medium-dark, pink-peach with warm undertones and a frosted sheen. It had a soft, almost cream-like texture that felt silky and smooth to the touch. The cheek color applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges. The opaque coverage might be a bonus for some but kept it from being buildable as described–though you could use it with a very light hand. It stayed on well for eight hours on me before I noticed signs of fading.

This is the very first CT Instant Look palette that I’ve ever considered buying. Finally has slightly richer shades that make it wearable and flattering on those even up into the tan range. Alicia@kinkysweat reviewed this and it did show up beautifully on her, but she did make the disclaimer that it probably wouldn’t show well on anyone much darker than herself. I’m a few shades lighter, so I’m sure it would work out fine if I take the plunge.
I purchased this gorgeous face palette from Cult Beauty a few weeks ago. I don’t mind the smaller blush pans – they make me reach for brushes that I should use more often, like the Smith 157 and 103. I would have preferred a bronzer that didn’t have an orange lean. (The bronzer in the Lovegasm palette did as well, and it suited me better as an eyeshadow.) I find these palettes so handy. I’d like to see more shade variation within and across the palettes.
This would make a really pretty basic palette for work or travel. I actually quite like it. The bronzer is too orange for me, but I like it as blush on you, and would wear it that way. I’ll have to think about this one.
Sort of ho-hum for me. Pretty, nice to have the shades in one palette, performance relatively good and not a totally out there price. I wouldn’t use the bronzer except as an eye shadow and I have a ton of these shades including some that are in smaller, inclusive palettes, though not necessarily the same small palette, so this will be a pass for me.
I would find those blush pans really difficult to get any product out of too Christine. They are so tiny and the larger bronzer shade is really a waste (in terms of quality and shade) because it would only suit some skintones. It’s orangey undertones could be offputting.
The eyeshadows themselves are nothing special, all found within CT’s quads and palettes.
Hello. Thinking to buy this pallette but i was told that this this product highlights the texture of the skin. I have medium enlarged pores. Do you think it does highlights pores? Do you think if you use appropriate foundation it will not do it?
