Urban Decay Sin is a moderately warm-toned, very light gold with a frost finish. It is a permanent highlighter that retails for $26.00 and contains 0.23 oz.

Editor's Review

Sin is a light, champagne gold with warm, yellow undertones and a metallic finish. The highlighter was quite pigmented, while the consistency was dense and lightly creamy, so it wasn't stiff or challenging to work with. It applied evenly on my skin and blended out with ease. This shade wore well for eight hours on me.

Claims / Ingredients

Afterglow isn’t your average highlighter; we took the time to finely mill the powder until it was just right. The result: a lightweight (yet luxurious) feel and a super-soft, creamy texture. Afterglow Highlighter goes on sheer and blends easily. Use a little or a lot; our wearable formula always applies beautifully, no matter how much you build it (and never leaves just a powdery dusting of shimmer). Available in a range of shades suitable for any skin tone, Afterglow creates a glowy, strobed effect that lasts all day (even if you’re crashing at your desk by 3pm).

Aura was my first choice in this now discontinued (how dumb is THAT?) highlighers from UD but I found Sin a while back at a discounter and grabbed it. The texture is gorgeous and it blends to a finish that is both luminous and natural looking at the same time. It's a bit warm for me as a highlighter - not unwearable and not unnatural looking but just a hint on the warm side (where Aura is cooler) but I really love it. I had planned to purchase this at full price at Sephora only to find it discontinued, so finding it AND at a very affordable price - well, double happiness!

I have extremely pale skin and I love a golden highlighter. In most brands thats really hard to come by in highlighter form lots of brands have an eyeshadow that would work but not many have a true ice gold highlighter. I cant say it emphasises pores as I have extremely dry skin and my pores are very minimal, however I do have an abundance of texture. At the end of the day it's a highlighter its job is to emphasise things and this does. This highlighter can be both an intense shimmer-fest or a subtle glow depending on how you apply it. I use it with a RealTechniques Multi-Task brush all over my face for a subtle all over glow, if you wanted a subtle glow just a few areas a fan brush works great. When I want an intense highlight I stripe it right on my face with my finger then diffuse the edges with a RT setting brush or sometimes just apply with the setting brush. I feel this product is very versatile and is one of my favourite highlighters out there for fair skin that doesn't want a pink glow but wants a golden champagne that isn't too dark.
