It’s funny that I don’t own even one of these, because they’re all really lovely picks! A few of these are in my wishlist, TF Malik and Egon.
Lately, I’ve been going for lighter shades that I usually don’t have a hankering for. MAC Please Me (not so sure I really love it on me 100%?), UD Streak (da bomb!), MAC Mehr, Marque. Then again, I’ve been going with some way more colorful and involved eye looks, so these work!

Rose Dentelle has been one of my go-tos too! I need to check out Script, looks right up my alley!
Also, Discreet looks so weirdly different on me – darker, browner, more mauvey leaning.

I’ve actually been pretty good at rotating through all of my lip colours recently, but I have been liking more matte formulas right now so Mac Mocha and Mehr are two that I’m using more than usual.

For spring, I like soft greens/blues on my eyes, so I keep my lips simple. My fave is Revlon Balmstain in Honey -it’s a MLBB pink brown on me. I got BOGO 50% off, so I keep one at stick at home and one at work.

I don’t have a single one of these. Girly is really gorgeous, though!

I don’t wear colors by season, and I change colors every day. My favorites lately have been: Urban Decay Gwen Stefani in Firebird; Urban Decay Sheer Revolution in Sheer Rapture; Too Faced La Creme Unicorn Tears, Nude Beach, and Wham!; Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Miami Fever; Jordana Modern Matte Lipstick in Matte Frappucino; ABH Liquid Lipstick in Unicorn; Hard Candy Fierce Effects Lipstick in Galactica, Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Dirty Money; Jcat Poutholic in Candyman; and Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Stone Fox. I’ve only had MAC Have Your Cake and Bite Beauty Black Truffle for a few days, but I see both going into heavy rotation this spring.

I like MLBB shades, sheer brights (if in a lip balm formula all the better) and full on brights (even though I’d love to save them until Summer I love them too much). I like to break out the warmer colours so we’re talking corals, warm pinks, oranges etc. Not that fuchsia doesn’t make an appearance though! Shimmer makes an appearance too so I’ll even dust off my sparkly lip glosses. ?

Here are some that I’m really loving just now:

Oops, I hit the ‘post’ button too quick so ignore my first comment! Anyway here’s a list of some awesome lipsticks that you might like the idea of wearing in Spring (although it’s snowing here today)!

MLBB and nudes:
Chanel Rouge Allure in Darling (this is my favourite lipstick of all time and yet it’s so subtle on!)

SUQQU Bright Up Lipstick in 02 Hanabeni (a great recommendation from a friend.)

Dior Diorific Mat in Radieuse (new found love that will likely replace my nearly done LE Chanel Darling.)

Clarins Rouge Eclat in 01 Nude Rose (the cool tones in this make it unique in my collection, beautiful.)

Dior Rouge Dior Nude in Swan (I fell for the name first and then fell in love with the lipstick!)

Sheer lipsticks/misc.:
Tarte LipSurgence in Elite (been neglecting this one and it really is lovely and easy to wear.)

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in 87 Rendez-vous (again with the subtle cool undertones, such a pretty sheer pink.)

Shu Uemura Tint in Gelato in CR01 (not sheer but it has a velvet finish with a hint of shine, plus the colour is a nice, light peachy-coral.)

Clinique Pop lipstick in Sweet Pop (I just love this pink, so fresh and Spring-like.)

Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire lipstick in 61 Pink Ballerinas (this has a gentle shimmer that makes it so glossy looking.)

Shiseido Veiled Rouge in PK405 (Pomegranate?) (loving the shimmer in this one too, it’s not too much.)

Brights:
Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani lipstick in Firebird (I’m obsessed with this just now!)

Givenchy Le Rouge in Rose Perfecto (another great Spring pink, very bright and fun!)

YSL Rouge Pur Couture in 19 Fuchsia (this has been a favourite for years and I always go back to it, just a great all-round fuchsia.)

Tom Ford Patent Finish Lip Color in Stolen Cherry (this is new to me and it’s amazing- it stays better than pretty much any other lip product I own, plus the glossiness stays too!)

Tom Ford Lips and Boys lipstick in Rafael (a beautiful orange in a lovely formula.)

Dior Rouge Dior in Rouge Pimpant (very new to me and just the kind of colour I like, sort of red/coral and slightly sheer.)

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color in Hot Raspberry (the name is deceiving- this might be labelled as sheer but it still packs a punch!)

Lancôme Rouge in Love in 351B and 340B (both are gorgeous, slightly sheer and glossy with a really pretty shine.)

Chanel Rouge Allure in Génial (Sadly it was LE but Mélodieuse is VERY similar and is permanent. ?)

Sorry to write a rambling essay but I had time to kill. I hope you don’t mind. Heck, if you read the whole thing you deserve a medal because it was hardly riveting stuff! Here, have some ice cream on me! ?

Nice picks! It’s funny, I purchased Egon and Malik because of your reviews. I wasn’t sure about them at first but the more I wear them, the more I love them! Egon is actually one of my fav shades right now. I think it’s a pretty unique shade. now that Ulta has the Anastasia products (and it’s 3X points for Platinum), I may go ahead and pick up Metallic Rose. Thanks for your Loves List!

My Tarte lip tints in Elite and Energy are my favorite spring colors! Elite is such a gorgeous warm strawberry kind of color and Energy on me takes on a really brightened cool pink. I was really scared when I first bought Energy that I wouldn’t like it since it’s the kind that adjusts to your lip pH but I adore it for the spring. And they feel amazing in the windy “not quite snow but now quite rain” weather I’m experiencing.

I haven’t really gotten into a spring colors mindset but I really like pinks, and purples during spring. MAC Candy Yum Yum and Heroine, Colourpop Brills and Grind, Bite Corvina and Bellini, etc.

Girly looks cute! I’ve been switching it up all the time but if I’m going out to the shops, I’ll wear Nars Rikugien as it’s quick and easy, I don’t have to faff about with lip liner as I do with matte or stronger lip colours. I love Mac’s Nice to Meet You but it does bleed outside my lipline without liner. Great colour for the daytime though. I’ve also worn Little Darling and Mayflower from the NARS Killer Heels mini set.

I have Pastille from your list, I do like that and have worn it tho not very recently. I am lemming for Malik, it looks so pretty! Downtown Plum and Backtalk look wearable for going out in the daytime. Papaya looks a fun colour to wear for summer!

I’m afraid if I call it “spring,” it’ll snow again. A week and a half ago, we got like 15 inches of snow. We’ve actually had a fairly mild winter, but I don’t want to jinx it. I’ve been sticking to either more neutral lips or super bright ones. I got the UD Gwen lipstick in Exgirlfriend, wore ELF matte Tea Rose (which is a neutral leaning grayish purple…so hard to describe). Have worn Colourpop Sundae, UD Gwen Firebird, Colourpop I <3 This.

I love Egon, even though it’s a bit light for me and I don’t usually care for really shimmery lipsticks. It’s just such a great neutral for me, and they are so rare. Exposed is next on my list of the Patent Finish lip colors to acquire; and Girly has been on my wish list for a long time, maybe now is the time to spring for it! All the rest of these are too light for me… I wonder what it is with me and light lipsticks… maybe since the color of my lips is a bit dark, light lip colors look unnatural to me (on myself)? Maybe with my ‘deep Winter’ skin coloring but relative lack of contrast with hair and eyes I look kind of ‘blah’ and washed out without some bright color or contrast somewhere on or near my face? A lighter lip or low-contrast makeup look is definitely helped if I drape a brightly colored scarf around my neck. When I was a teen, pale pink lipstick was what everyone wore, along with turquoise-blue eyeshadow — both looked horrible on me, so I just didn’t wear makeup! Went in for dark blue frosty nail polish instead, and that was decades before the Goth look (bet some of you didn’t know that they actually had weird colors of nail polish in the drugstore back in the 60s/early 70s!)

When colors are really dark/deep, I feel like it’s a more formal/dressy/dramatic look on me. Medium to medium-dark with some brightness seems best. MUAs have told me I’m lucky because I have ‘good lips’, whatever that means, lol. They’re pretty full. It could be that light colors make them look a bit large, the same way dark colors can make thin lips look even thinner.
