Editor's Review

It is supposed to be “opaque” with “high-shine” that’s “non-drying.” It is one of the more pigmented lipglosses out there that has a smoother, more cushion-y consistency that typically spreads well across the lips. Some shades gather in lip lines, and some shades apply streaky; it seems more common with lighter shades and milkier colors.

The formula is non-sticky initially and develops slight tackiness over time. My experience from wearing the formula is that they are often lightly to moderately hydrating and wear three to five hours. They have a vanilla scent that isn’t too overpowering nor does it linger once applied (I notice it mostly in the tube).

Claims / Ingredients

A full pigment, weightless formula with lacquer and lustre finishes for the intensity of a stain and shine of a gloss.

I found this one to be really interesting. It’s blue in the tube but if you pay closer attention you’ll see pink glitter flecks in it as well. One of the reasons I like blue glosses is that they tend to bring out the natural pink in my lips, and Blue Hawaii did just that, while also adding a sort of lavender tint (blue gloss + pink sparkle = light purple). The formula was hydrating, non-sticky and comfortable to wear. It also smells like vanilla, which is nice. Overall I like this gloss.

This is such a beautiful, sheer glitter gloss. It's very comfortable to wear, not sticky, and it smells like a Starburst candy! Photos online tend to show it looking rather peachy or coral, but in person it looks a lot more pink to me. The color is very buildable, so whether you want a sheer hint of sparkle to your lips or a more bright pink look, as a topper for lipstick or by itself, it's all doable.

Too pigmented, not for my liking of a lip gloss but I think others might like it better this way.

This is such a cute and whimsical red, glittery gloss. I love the bright color and the red glitter inside it. It takes a few layers to really get the coverage of an "opaque" gloss by itself. It smells amazing, like other Anastasia vanilla-scented lip glosses, which is why I buy most of my glosses from them (other than the amazing color selection). It looks super good over other red lipsticks as well. One star off for the opacity.

Super pigmented and long-lasting formula. Slightly sticky, but has a lovely scent and this colour is to die for!

Great lipgloss formula! Not sticky, very opaque, smells and feels great. Can look a little TOO pigmented or thick when first applied, but within ten minutes or so, it settles on the lips nicely (without settling into lines).
