Here’s another look using the from Stila! :) I also tried to fit in some purply-lips, too. I probably wouldn’t re-use the lip combination with this look — there’s just not enough of the eggplant-y purple showing through to tie them together. I’d most likely go for a lighter, paler pinky lip with a sheer purple gloss on top for a slight purple cast instead. Live and learn! :)
You will need the following…
- Eyes: Soft Ochre paint pot (neutral beige base), Stila All Doll’d Up Eyeshadow Palette (champagne, pink, and purple), MAC Fig. 1 eyeshadow (eggplant-burgundy), MAC Femme-Fi eyeshadow (highlighter), Stila Purple Pumps Smudge Pot (purple), Plushlash mascara (black)
- Cheeks: MAC Blooming blush (pale pink)
- Lips: MAC Up the Amp lipstick (purple), MAC Violetta lipstick (bright fuchsia-purple), MAC Negligee lipglass (light purple)
- Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 226 (fluffy crease brush), 219 (pointed crease brush), 214 (smudge brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
- Substitutes: Substitute Stila shades for MAC Retrospeck, Pink Venus, Parfait Amour; Blooming = Well Dressed; Negligee = Luminary + Violet pigment
Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply MAC Soft Ochre paint pot all over the lid as the base with the 249. On the inner lid, pack Stila’s champagne eyeshadow on using the 239. Apply Stila’s light pink eyeshadow to the middle and outer portions of the lid. Darken the outer lid with Stila’s purple eyeshadow using the 226, then deepen with MAC Fig. 1 eyeshadow with the 219. Sweep Femme-fi eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Stila Purple Pumps Smudge Pot on lower lash line, and apply Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with MAC Blooming blush using the 129. Apply MAC Up the Amp lipstick to lips, and then layer MAC Violetta lipstick on top, and then finish with MAC Negligee lipglass for color and shine.

Still experimenting with my camera, except I forgot to actually experiment. I got distracted (as per usual!), and I only ended up taking one set of photos, so I didn’t have much to choose from (read that as only one photo per angle, so there was nothing to choose from!).
You will need the following…
- Eyes: Soft Ochre paint pot (neutral beige base), Melon pigment (peachy-pink), Going Bananas eyeshadow (yellow), Fab & Flashy eyeshadow (orange), Rule eyeshadow (orange), Passionate eyeshadow (dark hot pink), Coppering eyeshadow (reddish-orange), Femme-fi eyeshadow (highlighter), Blacktrack fluidline (black), Urban Decay Honey 24/7 Liner (gold), Plushlash mascara (black)
- Cheeks: Other Worldly blush (bronzy-orange), Dior Amber Diamond Skin Shimmer (bronzy highlighter)
- Lips: Fashionably Fuchsia lipstick (hot pink), Tartlette lipglass (coral)
- Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 226 (fluffy crease brush), 219 (pointed crease brush), 214 (smudge brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
- Substitutes: Going Bananas = Bright Sunshine; Fab & Flashy = Goldmine + Rule; Femme-fi = Shroom; Other Worldly = bronzer; Fashionably Fuchsia = Girl About Town; Tartlette = Lychee Luxe
Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Soft Ochre paint pot all over the lid as the base with the 249. With the 239, apply Melon pigment with water-based mixing medium on the lower lid. On the inner lid, pack Going Bananas eyeshadow on using the 239. Apply Fab & Flashy eyeshadow to the middle portion of the lid. Apply Coppering eyeshadow lightly on outer portions of the lid. Darken crease with Passionate eyeshadow using the 226, then deepen with Rule eyeshadow with the 219. Sweep Femme-fi eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Urban Decay Honey Liner on lower lash line, and Blacktrack fluidline on the upper lash line using the 209. Apply Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Other Worldly blush using the 129, then highlight with Dior Amber Diamond Skin Shimmer with the 188. Apply Fashionably Fuchsia lipstick to lips, and then top with Tartlette lipglass for color and shine.

To compensate for the site being down intermittently, here’s a Rose Romance look I did yesterday. I think it’s the first time I’ve worn eyeshadow in two weeks ore more! I just always run out of time and end up going with a minimal to no makeup face these days. I’m working on it, though!

Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Soft Ochre paint pot all over the lid as the base. On the inner lid, apply Et Tu, Bouquet? eyeshadow using the 239. Apply Of Summer eyeshadow to the middle of the lid. Darken the outer lid using Shadowy Lady eyeshadow using the 239. Darken crease with Shadowy Lady eyeshadow using the 226, then overlay with Creme de Violet eyeshadow. Sweep Shroom eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Urban Decay Ransom Liner on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Summer Rose beauty powder using the 129, then highlight with Dior Rose Diamond skin shimmer with the 188. Here’s my Sugarsweet look from yesterday! :) I used Red Velvet as I mentioned I probably would do, and to be honest, I wasn’t loving it. I felt like Red Velvet tended to eat color rather than amplify it. For those interested, Red Velvet and Dear Cupcake feel like virtually the same color; when I patted Dear Cupcake over Red Velvet, there was no color change whatsoever. I had tried using both Sugarshot and Motif eyeshadows on the inner portion of the lid, but neither of them showed up; so I ended up packing on Goldmine eyeshadow to finally get some oomph in that area.
You will need the following…
- Eyes: Red Velvet shadestick (dark pink), Goldmine eyeshadow (gold), Dear Cupcake eyeshadow (pink-coral), Stars ‘n Rockets eyeshadow (fuchsia-purple), Shadowy Lady eyeshadow (dark burgundy-purple), Femme-fi eyeshadow (soft neutral highlighter), Urban Decay Underground 24/7 Ransom Liner (dark purple), Plushlash mascara (black)
- Cheeks: Refined mineralize skinfinish (peach-nude), Dior Coral Riviera blush (soft coral)
- Lips: Lollipop Loving lipstick (sheer coral-green), Chanel Tangerine Dream Aqualumiere Gloss (coral)
- Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 226 (fluffy crease brush), 214 (smudge brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
- Substitutes: Red Velvet = Fuchsia; Dear Cupcake = Paradisco; Refined = Soft & Gentle; Lollipop Loving = no dupe
Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Red Velvet shadestick all over the lid as the base. On the inner lid, apply Goldmine eyeshadow using the 239. Apply Dear Cupcake eyeshadow to the middle of the lid. Darken the outer lid using Stars ‘n Rockets eyeshadow using the 239. Darken crease with Shadowy Lady eyeshadow using the 226, then overlay with Stars ‘n Rockets eyeshadow. Sweep Femme-fi eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Urban Decay Ransom Liner on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Refined mineralize skinfinish using the 129, then highlight with Dior Coral Riviera blush with the 188. Apply Lollipop Loving lipstick to lips, and then top with Chanel Tangerine Dream Aqualumiere Gloss for color and shine.

Sugarsweet Look! :)
I actually really liked how this turned out — it’s been a minute since I’ve been super satisfied with how a makeup look has come out, and I’m pretty pleased with this one! I didn’t think it would work when I started, but it definitely came together. Even Perfect Topping gave me some color! Shocker! I recommend using the 165 brush (or a dense brush) to give you concentrated color for those who struggle to get anything except shimmer from MSFs.
You will need the following…
- Eyes: Cakeshop shadestick (gray-green), Aquavert eyeshadow (light green-teal), Sugarshot eyeshadow (frosty white), Stars ‘n Rockets eyeshadow (fuchsia-purple), Lemon Chiffon shadestick (white-gold), Femme-fi eyeshadow (soft neutral highlighter), Feline kohl power (black), Plushlash mascara (black)
- Cheeks: Perfect Topping mineralize skinfinish (pale pink)
- Lips: Saint Germain lipstick (cool pink with purple undertones), Tasty tricolour lipglass (sheer pink)
- Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 226 (fluffy crease brush), 214 (smudge brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
- Substitutes: Cakeshop = Delft (leans tealer/bluer); Aquavert = Juxt (leans yellower); Sugarshot = Phloof!; Lemon Chiffon = Baselight; Femme-fi = Shroom; Feline = Graphblack; Perfect Topping = Pink Freeze; Saint Germain = Pink Nouveau; Tasty = Palatial
Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Cakeshop shadestick all over the lid as the base. On the inner lid, apply Aquavert eyeshadow using the 239. Apply Sugarshot eyeshadow to the middle of the lid. Darken the outer lid using Stars ‘n Rockets eyeshadow using the 239. Darken crease with Stars ‘n Rockets eyeshadow using the 226. Apply Lemon Chiffon shadestick along brow bone to create a base. Sweep Femme-fi eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Apply Cakeshop shadestick as liner on lower lashes. Using the 219, apply Aquavert eyeshadow over the shadestick on the lower lash line. Finish with Feline khol power on lower waterline, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Perfect Topping using the 165. Apply Saint Germain lipstick to lips, and then top with Tasty tricolour lipglass for color and shine.
